Carpet Depot installed the carpeting in our home when my wife & I moved here in September 2011…read more Because we had such a fantastic experience with them, we decided to go back to them. After pricing Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring at a couple other retailers, including the big-box DIY stores, we stopped back by Carpet Depot to speak with Kevin (the owner) and his staff. As before, they were knowledgeable and professional in every way. After taking a few weeks to decide regarding the type of LVP (more for my wife than me), we made our decision and set up a time for Kevin to come by to double check our measurements. The price was extremely good and very competitive. As with most things in today's retail market, it took a few weeks for the materials to come in: we put LVP on the downstairs floor and a high-grade commercial carpet on the stairs. During the whole "waiting" period, either Kevin or his staff called us to keep us informed where everything was or wasn't. When everything came in, we were told it could take up to two days. We had to have an area of tongue-and-groove ¾ inch oak removed and the old carpeting in the fireplace room and the stairs removed as well, so we figured this was reasonable. When the installation crew arrived, they informed us it would all be done in one day! The installation guys were phenomenal. Face it, it doesn't matter how nice the flooring is unless it is installed properly. The crew was polite, and they worked extremely hard. I used to manage job sites and these guys were great! This was perhaps the number one of the reason why we returned to Carpet Depot--the professionalism and service of Kevin's installation crews. We are beyond satisfied with our new floors! They finished quickly, they were extremely concerned with our satisfaction, and they were professional. The market right now is very tight cost-wise. You always get what you pay for and there is little ability for a quality install and product at a very low price. This is just where we are in our economy today. What makes the difference is the customer service and the people doing the service. The biggest difference in today's economy is the service. Carpet Depot delivers on this. And I have longer than ten years' experience to prove it!

I'm a Veteran and am moving once again, I drove 3.5 hours to town to meet with Kevin and he did not show for the appt he set up. I even confirmed the day before and I should have known it was going to be an issue by the attitude the lady had when I asked about it. Called multiple times, left messages, and waited two hours after the appointment time, nothing. Which tells me he had no intention of keeping the appointment in the first place. Waited to post the in the event they called to apologize but it's clear they don't care. Don't bother with this place, go where they actually want your business and can keep appointments.

There are DOZENS of companies performing mudjacking/void filling/concrete leveling in town, and I think I called nearly all of them. Of the three or four that actually called back and gave me pricing, Jay was the only one who would take on such a small job without charging me a full daily rate. The work (in total, including setup and cleanup) took literally 30 minutes, I think it took longer to drive to my house one way than to actually fill the voids. I feel like I paid a whole lot for 30 minutes, but a heck of a lot less than every other company's daily rate. The crew (Mark) actually leveled a section of the driveway that I didn't even notice to be out of level while he was out there. Everyone had great communication - answered the phone, returned messages, called on the way, called on site... - which is worth a lot! Not everyone is looking to do tiny jobs, but Jay and A1 are basically the only game in town for that, but if I had a larger job (and I might) I'd just call A1. They'll actually call back, come out to quote, give you a reasonable price and communicate with you throughout the process. And they seem to have a lot of pride in their work.

At our new home, there was hardly any grass and poor soil conditions and thanks to Wynns our yard looks like we sodded the entire thing. They came out and did soil tests and tailored a regimen specifically for our yard based on its needs. I also appreciate the fact I can pay for the entire year in January to ensure I do not miss a treatment and my lawn gets what it needs on time. The Techs are friendly and always courteous of our pets. The office staff is also very knowledgeable about treatments and helpful if I ever have a question - I feel like I'm talking to a friend when I call. I highly recommend Wynns because of the above notes as well as the fact they are local and give back to the surrounding community!! I literally look at my yard everyday and smile.
