The proposals varied greatly in both price and design. I sensed that I was being oversold and pressured into something that was beyond the scope of the problem. I found Structural Fix and in my phone discussions with them could tell that they had a different approach to addressing my issues. The owner, Jeff Hall came out and conducted a through, engineering based inspection of my home. He explained the cause of my issues using language that was both comprehensive and easy to grasp. i was extremely confident in his assessment and the solution was a fraction of the work effort and cost from the other vendors. Throughout the process Structural Fix was professional and showed a real commitment to working with a true sense of partnership. Highly recommend.

I paid $45,000 for Mark Carlisle Home Improvement to install a Trex boardwalk and dock on my…read moreproperty with a 5 year warranty for workmanship. I have had the deck for about 2 years now and am having a lot of trouble with it. At first my outdoor lighting that was on the boardwalk and dock started giving me problems. I had my lighting guys come out and they said all the outdoor, all-weather grade fasteners and fittings that they had put on were no longer on and causing all my problems. It turns out Mark Carlisle's crew who took the lights off to install the new boardwalk and dock threw those good fasteners and fittings away on the ground and replaced with cheap indoor fittings after I specifically told them to keep them and use them to put the lighting back on. That is the smaller problem. The big problem is that I was told the Trex fasteners were not available so they used screws to fasteners the Trex and now I am ha ing problems with warping and keeping the Trex secured. This is a tripping hazard and creates an unsafe condition. When i brought this to Mark's attention, at first he said he would replace the Trex and have the lights fixed back to original and now he is not doing that when we have a written 5 year warranty on the work. It is very disappointing and will probably have to go to court. Very unprofessional work done by the crew and a total disregard for the warranty that he guaranteed. I recommend not using this contractor for any home project as the crew did a terrible job and the person is completely dishonest. Avoid yourself the headache.

Negative Review for Revive Exteriors in Carrollton, GA I…read morecalled Revive Exteriors for an estimate to repair some siding. Brandon came out, met me, looked over the job, took pictures, and said he would get back to me with an estimate in about a day or so. Thursday came and went with no estimate. Friday came and still nothing. I called them on Friday and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone--it kept rerouting to someone else. After several attempts, I finally reached Brandon. He quoted me $800 for a job that would probably take less than an hour and a half. When I asked him to email the estimate over, he couldn't even do that. This company is a complete waste of time. Poor communication, slow to follow up, and wildly overpriced for such a small job. I would not recommend Revive Exteriors to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
