Southern Arbor came out to trim three of my trees. They arrived about 15 minutes early, as I somewhat expected since I was likely their first 8 AM stop. They were a three men crew and the crew leader seemed knowledgeable and experienced; he listened to my questions and requests for them to be mindful of certain areas in my backyard. They worked pretty quickly to complete the trimming and cleaned up well before leaving. I was very happy with the job and the overall experience with this company. I believe this was my third time using their services within the past 8-10 years. The price was good as well. read more

Craig was knowledgeable. Trusted them with a very large oak tree in my yard. After they completed the work the tree is much more uniform - looks great. Their team picked everything up and it was a smooth process. Would recommend this company. read more

We had two projects that we called Southern Arbor Service for: remove a tall dead pine tree and trim a bamboo grove that had been strangled by a spreading vine. They came promptly at 8 am with a large crew and all the equipment needed. The pine was cut without damaging any surrounding growth and the stump was removed and ground down. Area was raked and left perfectly clean. The bamboo was accessed with a bucket truck. It was trimmed and all the debris was removed. Very, very satisfied with this company and highly recommend. read more

My neighbor was getting two large Oak trees trimmed and I needed my five palm trees cut back for the hurricane season. I called the number on the truck and was quickly answered with a friendly voice and a quote. The five-man crew managed to trim all five trees in no time. They also cleaned up the debris and hauled it away. We will definitely use them again to keep our trees healthy and trimmed. read more

I have many HUGE trees and have used 3 arborists. This is the best by far. They answer the phone. They show up when they say they will. Their prices are fair. They do the job quickly and neatly. They have insurance and they know what they are doing. They trimmed my 3 enormous ficus trees and giant mahogany so well that they haven't had to do them again in a few years. My last guy had to do them every single year and charged me more and more each year. And he took days to complete the job. These guys do it in one day. They clean up the debris and cart it away immediately. They have many trucks and are up for any job. read more

This has been our go to company for any and all tree trimming, tree removal, and adding new trees to our property. We have used them many times over the last 5 years. I needed tree work done immediately and Southern Arbor can to my rescue. Damon, the owner responded to my service call, identified the issue and quickly took care of the trouble. Southern Arbor's service was extremely reasonable. They cleaned up after the job and removed the trimming. Not like those other services I've seen that leave a pile by the side of the road. The staff showed up at my house on time and was extremely professional and friendly. AWESOME WORK!!! I was extremely satisfied and schedule annual service so that I would never have any issues moving forward. Thanks to Damon and his team. read more

Damon and his crew did an excellent job removing our Eureka palm cluster that had Ganoderma. they effeciently removed and treated the contaminated soil. We also had them plant a new Bismarck palm. I personally had a horrible experience with this company. Mainly with them just never calling me back or communicating to me at all. 1- I called 3 times trying to get to talk to Senior to ask him, "What are my options?" I sent text. I called his personal line and left voice mail, and I called the main office line. No one ever called me back. 2- Rather than being allowed to speak to Senior again, I instead got a work order for trimming the tree. I had asked for what my options were - meaning - could we replace the tree with someone similar? But instead was just given a work order for trimming the tree back. 3- After agreeing to the work order, I heard nothing back for a week, so I called to ask where I was on the schedule. I was told they would find out and get back to me. No one ever called me back... or called me back today either. No one ever called me back. This was my experience with this company. I cancelled the work order due to an extreme lack of communication. read more

Damon is my hero! With his help a few months ago, we nursed an oak sapling with sentimental significance back to health. Today, when I contacted him and asked if I should have the tree staked, he came to our house after a long, hot day's work and staked the tree for us. He did not want to accept payment. After refusing payment more than once, he finally accepted when I said that if he didn't want to accept it for himself, he should use it to spread more goodness. Damon, we appreciate your expertise and your kindness. You are a rare human being. read more

Called for some serious help. This company was not only professional but quick to respond and eager to help. When I set up the appointment Steve came to inspect the property with me. I showed him my need to have these trees cut and what I wanted to accomplish. He not only made me feel comfortable but educated me on why and how these trees needed to be trimmed. Also what we're the pros and cons on trimming and removing of certain trees. He put me first in the decision on what I would like to do and gave me options if we wanted to tackle this step by step or in one visit. There was no need to call around and check prices. They really know what they are doing. I booked them on short notice and they were right out there. He called me when the job was completed and sent me a receipt. I arrived home and was amazed. My property looked awesome. I will definitely recommend them and use them for further help. Thank you once again. read more

All we can say is AMAZING! From my first phone call, until the trucks pulled away, there was NOTHING disappointing about Southern Arbor's service. It began with Jamie, who coordinated the removal within my trip to FL, on the exact day I requested, followed up with every step of the permit process and had a great personality. The owner Damon, arrived with all his men first thing in the morning...truck after truck pulled up, and they all got right to work with minimal discussion...which was comforting because you then knew they were very experienced in their field. Each of employees we had the pleasure of speaking with were one nicer than the other.... They took this 60-75' tree down like it was made out of paper! It was exciting to watch and the final result was beyond expectations! Thank you all for a great job! read more

I had been working with the company for a few months on a tree planting job. I finally got scheduled after reaching out to the office on several occassion. The day I was supposed to be scheduled to have the job completed, I received a text message that the job could not be done. This is not a good look when you are on a time scheduled. They made me wait time and missed a deadline which will cost me money. I would have a back up company if you looking to use them. On a good note, Katie was great and a big help. read more

Damon and his crew worked very carefully, and watching them was like watching a well choreographed ballet!! The tree was removed, chopped up, and gone! I was, and am thrilled with the job they did!!! Today I had the Southern Arbor Services Inc. team come out to take down a 65 foot live oak. The tree was in a very difficult location, and required the use of a huge crane and a large team of people. The Southern Arbor folks did an amazing job. They worked quickly but extremely carefully. They communicated really well about the job progress every step of the way. They treated my property and the property of 3 other homeowner's like it was their own, and when they completed the work they left the area in fantastic shape. I have used a number of tree companies over the years, and this was by far the best group I have worked with. I cannot recommend them enough, especially if your job is complex and difficult ! read more

Southern Arbor is the company you want to call. We needed to remove a large palm tree that was struck by lightening and on a referral I called Damon. He emailed me, a very reasonable quote, we set up an appointment and the tree was down within a week. I am not in FL right now and thought this would be a big deal! Damon made it simple and easy. He even emailed pictures of the complete job. Professional and prompt. We would recommend this company to our family and friends. read more

Had an emergence because a large branch broke and was blocking the road. It was up very high and needed a bucket truck to reach it. Called around and got lots of stories like we can get a bucket truck in 2 days. Then I called Southern Arbor Services Thank GOD. These pros were there in less than an hour. Damon and his team were exceptional. Cleaned the large branch in no time and trimmed the tree as well. Once completed there was no sign of the tree trimming left on the road. Clean up was exceptional. If I didn't get it done this afternoon there was a danger that a high vehicle would run into the hanging branch. So I can rest easy tonight knowing that will not happen. Damon could tell I was in a bind to get this done and did NOT let that fact cause any price gouging. Southern Arbor's price was fair and reasonable. I would definitely use this company again in the future Don't waste your time with the other guys call the REAL pros. Thanks Again you guys are the BEST Mike Walsh read more

Excellent service provided. I needed immediate help to clean up some tall palm trees that had dead leaves to avoid being fined by our HOA. The owner put us in touch with Damon, who was able to come first thing the next morning to discuss what was needed. The work was then completed later that day. They were very knowledgeable of the services they could provide to spruce up our trees. We are also excited to have them plant an avocado tree for us! I would definitely recommend them for any arbor services needed. read more
