The staff here are very friendly and accomodating to volunteers. We cleaned (swept, mopped, disinfected, etc) some of the facilities at the Double H Ranch. We just spent a few hours but I believe they also have opportunities for volunteering at the week-long camps they run (which is something I'd like to try). If you're looking to volunteer in the Lake George area for a worthy organization that provides positive opportunities for kids with disabilities, I recommend the Double H Ranch.

She's great and her consignment shop is a gem! Check it out. You'll be glad you did, whether you're buying, selling or doing both. I often say that she pays me to shop and it makes me feel great that someone is enjoying something I can no longer use. She carries everything from jeans and t-shirts to brand name purses, jewelry and designer clothes. The kitchen wares, linens, collectables and knick knacks are always fun.
