Doctor saw my foot and ordered X-rays that were done right then and there. Diagnosed the issue and referred me to a surgeon. I know she is a great doctor because when I went to see the surgeon he told me that the doctor had talked about my case and was very concerned that I get in to see the surgeon right away. It is now May 1st and she has failed to return to my phone calls, txt messages or emails. My physical therapist has reached out to her numerous time; she has not returned not only my calls but also other professional physicians and therapist of mine. She has not communicated with me at all. Not only does she lack in poor communication and customer services skill, but she lacks to deliver a product that was ordered, paid for by the insurance company and failed to deliver. I reach out on a daily basis to the corporate office; Kia there receptionist is great at trying to help find a solution and she cant even give an explanation of why Laura does not return phone calls or emails. I have reached out to the rehab center The Kline Galland Home asking their assistance in why they would recommend such a business that does not follow up with their customers and update them. They where very helpful is getting me an update from Laura; but even after that she would not call myself or my therapist back. I would not recommend Laura McCrary or Med Tech Orthopedics to anyone that is in need of a custom brace, They do not communicate well, they do not have the ability to to bill all insurances and have to use a third party vendor for billing and ordering. I arrived to my scheduled appointment today and after a few minutes was told that the clinic did…read morenot accept my BCBS of Tennessee (blue network E) insurance. I had made the appointment 21 days prior after having been in pain with a toe issue for weeks. At the time I made the appointment I made sure to clarify with the scheduler that indeed my insurance was accepted and she assured me that they took my exact insurance. So I had gone an additional 21 days in pain waiting anxiously for this appointment and now was told by the office manager/receptionist that someone had made a mistake and that I could not be seen under my insurance. She did offer that I could be seen as a cash pay patient, but I knew that I likely would need an office procedure done and I was not in a financial position to pay cash for that. All in all, the office manager was rude, the person who scheduled the appointment did so in error, and I was seriously inconvenienced and left in pain. Update: I have just now received a phone call from Dr. Pacheco who apologized for the error and has offered to try to get me on a colleague's schedule next week who does indeed accept my insurance. I appreciated her phone call and hope that I can be seen elsewhere next week.

Dr did procedure on both feet (2 toes), I'm the worst patient about pain, blood - whiney old lady lol but he did BOTH and NO PAIN, zero discomfort (until a couple days later) but I sincerely appreciate, respect and have immense respect for TN Valley Foot and Ankle, they are a true pleasure and indeed is an excellent physician, gentleman and cares. I'm not one to review Doctors but honestly I feel everyone should know the above excellent care Dr Strickler and staff provide. I can't wait to just see them for my check up. If you have ANY feet, toe, ankle problems I highly recommend calling today, don't wait four times or almost one year for relief when he got me able to walk and not gasp in pain, it took a minute to heal but i can wear shoes, walk without looking like Quasimodo lol. Who knows? Maybe I'll be back in high heels by my birthday and I'm gonna be way too old but why not if I can? Dr Strickler gave me relief, hope and new lease on life. Thanks Dr S!
