Being able to provide working adults options for school scheduled after working hours is amazing of them. My little sister is a student at this location and she absolutely loves the experience. She is on the fast track to obtaining her associates degree within the next year. She works a full 8 hour shift Monday-Friday and she attends Strayer's classes on certain days of the week after her work shift. I visited the campus with her to attend an event last week and I was impressed. We were assisted by a young lady named Melinda Upchurch. She was super kind and helpful. She assisted my sister with a few suggestions to help further her along her graduate goals at Strayer. Melinda was well versed in the classes offered at Strayer. She also did a great job asking clarifying questions which helped my sister come to a decision as to what program and classes she wanted to take. The campus is located in a busy section of Raleigh/Garner. There was a grand parking lot outside of the school. It also sits right behind Golden Corral so lunch should be good everyday!

We asked former teachers, families of students, black…read morefamilies of students and we heard negative statements concerning the African American experience here. As a teacher I asked a former NRCA teacher about it, and his words were "It is a good education, but they are not the place for black students." Despite this, we normally know how to navigate those spaces, and most teachers here are actually GREAT. However, they have a science teacher and a coach that has received several complaints for ostracizing students. It's one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an educator. I've never seen ANYTHING like it. We have spoken to administration. Other parents have spoken to administration. They head nod and continue to employ him, knowing he has actively chosen to kill the energy of the students he is called to serve. You don't have to believe me, ask about him. The responses will be the same. Parents agree but duck their heads to avoid rubbing him wrong as he takes it out on kids. I've been a teacher for 15 years and have recommended my sister remove him from this situation as I see how he has affected him. Families of players agree, but I'm okay speaking up, bc someone needs to know. Ronnie Kruger's actions are so egregious, and he alone has caused my nephew such pain, I can't believe a Christian School continues to let him behave this way and not require him to at minimum treat kids with respect and love.

Highly recommended! We moved here about a year ago and needed a daycare for our daughter while both…read moreher dad and I worked during the day. I called several centers and took tours before deciding this was the place. I liked that they learned through play, with a good balanced of both academics and individual learning. The classrooms are clean and well-organized, and I appreciated that there was a lot of diversity in both the staff and the kids there. They have a splash pad for the summer months, and allowed a lot of outdoor play time (weather permitting) for my growing toddler. There are cameras that are connected to a mobile app so we can check in on her remotely. Best of all, the kids all seemed happy to be there. Once my daughter got adjusted back to daycare life at 15 months, she truly thrived. Her first teacher, Miss Nakia, was what we would classify as the young toddler whisperer. She just had a natural way of managing the kids and our daughter loved her class! Miss Ashley was new at the time and really bonded with her too. We could see on the camera that she's always leading some fun activity, song, or story. Ari then transitioned to the 18+ months classroom with Miss Marlene and Miss Ana. She loved them and the other teachers that were also supporting that class (Miss Ashley, Miss Eve, Miss Molly, etc.). It's important to have good owners and leadership in a daycare center and KAC seems to have both. Paulette, the Director, has always been a positive presence there. She greets everyone at the entrance with a smile. She often visits the classrooms and isn't afraid to watch over the kids if they are short-staffed. When the shutdowns for the coronavirus first started, the owners genuinely listened to concerns from us parents. They scheduled a conference call and sent out surveys to gather our feedback. I learned that not a lot of daycare owners went through such lengths to ensure that parents are heard and teachers can still get paid. The owners even admitted that they weren't getting paid during the shutdown, but they continued to pay their teachers. That's class! Right now, they are taking many precautions to make sure their center is clean and safe for the kids that continue to attend. They take temperatures every morning, outside drop off/pick up, are constantly cleaning surfaces, and all the staff wear masks. We have since bought a house that's further away and had to move her to a daycare that's closer to home. We are very sad to leave, but are very appreciative of KAC for making our first year in NC a great one!

They didn't just help my daughter grow -- they helped me as a new mom navigate all the changes, emotions, and adjustments that come with those early months. Every teacher we interacted with showed patience, kindness, and a level of dedication that is rare to find. They celebrated her milestones, comforted her when she needed it, and kept me informed every step of the way. Knowing she was in such loving and capable hands gave me peace of mind that I will always be grateful for. This place is truly something special. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be nurtured, supported, and treated like family, look no further. I could not recommend it more. Don't hesitate -- enroll your little one here. It was one of the best decisions I've made for my daughter.
