It's huge, matter of fact reputed to be the largest boat repair facility within the United States having some 19 covered buildings wherein all sorts of repairs and maintenance are done; being everything from electronics, welding, wood, mechanical, paint, fiberglass, metal and just about everything I boat may ever need. I seen their workmanship and I must say its first class all the way but, as with boat repairs anywhere, usually done with an expected open wallet in mind. You can get lost in this huge complex as it has so many offices for boat dealers, surveyors with just about every marine professional imaginable. I've captained a few yachts in and out of here and one thing that strikes you is that the security level is extremely high. You don't just get in here by car or boat without checking through some form a security, so unfortunately it isn't a place where just anyone can come in and freely wonder about. Then if you do get in, watch out for the electric golf carts as the operators are notoriously bad. I've come close to being hit on several occasions. So, if you hit the lottery and buy that huge mega yacht and need it repaired or have to hide it from a hurricane, this is the place.

Ricardo is an unassuming, modest but highly intelligent person who quietly listens to one's issues with the boat, engine or systems and then just goes to work confirming what one intuits he already knows is the problem and how to fix it? I wish I had called him to work on my boat sooner as instead, I called some else (I previously posted a review about that "mechanic"), who not only clearly is not as astute when it comes to outboard engines but boats' systems and unlike Ricardo, charges abusively for his sloppy services. Ricardo shows up on time but if he expects to be detained by some other job, has the courtesy to call the customer to alert him/her he's delayed. Unlike the other guy, he does not dress with a monogram uniform as he allows his work speak for him, not a uniform. I have owned sail and motor boats from 23' to 46' for 50 years (yes, I am 75 years old as the other guy for some reason, saw fit to point out in response to my review) and have taken multiple boating courses, inclusive of outboard engine repair. Over the years I have used the services of multiple boat yards, electricians and mechanics. Ricardo stands out way above any one else who has worked on my boats!
