They recently remodeled and added another turf area for all of the squat racks (and there are a…read morecouple more racks than before thankfully) and an additional weights area within that area, as well. I am extremely happy with this addition as it was sorely needed and helps feel the old weights area feel less cramped with people. Speaking of, that area has also seen some additional benches added (thank you!) in place of the relocated racks. That being said, this place is still ridiculously overcrowded all the time. 1:30pm here feels like 6pm at basically any other Chuze, which is mainly why I can't give this gym 5 stars yet. Also the air circulation is still strangely not great. It still gets way too hot especially in the new side yard/turf area I mentioned. But again, very pleased with the improvements so far and I hope they continue to listen to their members to make the experience as good as it can be here. Also, open the Long Beach location already, lol.

I'm writing this because I had one of the most frustrating experiences at Chuze Fitness today, and…read moremanagement really needs to address what's going on at the front desk. As I was walking in with my son, the staff told me I needed to do a buddy pass for him. No problem -- I followed their instructions exactly. I logged into the app, added him, went through the whole process, and scanned it at the door just like they told me. Everything went through fine. Then, right after all that, the staff suddenly stopped us and said my son couldn't come in because he was "only 11 years old." That's completely false -- my son is 14 years old, and I have no idea where they got that wrong information from. Instead of trying to fix it or even double-check their system, they just repeated the same thing and said he needed an ID -- which they never mentioned before I went through the whole process in the app. It's unacceptable to waste a member's time and embarrass us like that at the door. I did everything right, exactly how they instructed, and still got turned away because of a mistake on their end. What's worse is that nobody took ownership or showed any effort to resolve the situation -- no manager stepped in, no explanation, just attitude and confusion. As a paying member, I expect clear communication, consistency, and professionalism. If the policy requires an ID, say that up front before making people go through the app setup and check-in process. Don't make parents feel disrespected and frustrated in front of their kids. This whole situation could have easily been handled better with just a little customer service and accountability. I hope management reads this, looks into their front desk procedures, and makes some changes. People come here to work out, not deal with unnecessary confusion and poor communication.

Pledge Fitness has been such a positive part of my routine for the past two years. Joining was one…read moreof the best decisions I've made. What stands out most is how personalized everything feels. The coaches pay attention to your individual strengths, limitations, and goals instead of taking a one size fits all approach. I have an old knee injury that flares up, and they always help modify movements so I could still safely strengthen the same muscle groups without making the pain worse. All coaches do a great job of making fitness feel approachable instead of overwhelming. I've tried other private gyms in the area before, and the environment here feels completely different. The owners, Coach Ray and Coach Anna, are wonderful to work with and have created such a positive environment for everyone there. The atmosphere is comfortable, encouraging, and never intimidating. All of the members are kind, welcoming, and supportive of one another. The workouts are challenging in the best way, the classes go by fast, and the environment makes it easy to keep showing up. I can't recommend this place enough.

The trainers have been great and helpful. The class is designed to accommodate both beginners, like myself and for the more experienced personnel as well. I have started to lose weight and have started to feel stronger. I highly recommend joining this fitness family club to anyone that is just beginning or have already been training for years.

That's completely false. There are several restrooms and I've never had to wait. The overall aesthetic of this place is top tier. The equipment is high quality, well maintained, and there's plenty of space to train. The gym is split into two sides and now they even have MAD Pilates, which is a great addition. So far, I haven't had to wait for equipment once. Even when it's busy, I've still been able to get a full workout in without issues. That's a huge difference compared to the gym up the street (Chuze), where you'll often see groups of people camping on the same machine. On weekends I come right when the doors open and it's about as empty as it gets. Perfect way to start the day. One warning though: don't try the peanut butter and jelly shake... unless you want to get hooked. It's that good. The turkey wrap is also a solid option. The staff has been amazing and welcoming since day one. Overall experience so far: 10/10. Highly recommended

The fans are not on, so there's no relief when the heat is running. I mean really how cold can it get in SoCal where the heater needs to be on full blast Also, it would really help if staff wore something identifiable, like a uniform shirt. There have been a few times I wanted to purchase a protein shake, but I couldn't tell who worked there or who to ask for help. Lastly, there have been times when there were no wipes available to clean the machines. Overall, still a great gym, just a few small improvements that would make a big difference!
