Another Gem of a discount place to shop especially if you are a Christmas and/or Decorating junkie…read more A good friend of mine decided that this year I was going to have a beautiful tree rather than the half hearted attempt I normally make...lol...and she took me to this shop close to Stateline Road. From the outside it's rather plain but once you step inside those of you who love finishing touches of silk flowers, vases, and all sorts of sparkly things will love this place. Parking is a bit tough because this store is popular and there aren't many spaces available especially as it gets closer to Christmas and the Holidays. Stock is changed to reflect the season while still allowing for a really healthy choice for everyday silk decorations, chargers and decorative items of all types. Prices are very reasonable considering the selection and I was amazed at how gorgeous my tree turned out this year...tipping my hat to my dear friend K for her patience and energy in making this Christmas extra special...

I will be going here from now on.

I hesitate to call Spruce an interior design store, because it's much more than that. On my visit, I was totally taken with their selection of adorable and unconventional stuffed animals. I picked up a sea foam green latticework pendant necklace. It reminds me a bit of a lawn chair. So, a big thank you to the person who suggested that I check out Spruce. I'll definitely be stopping in again.

Personally, I found it to be three stars due to being a bit overpriced. A throw pillow filled with goose down, while beautiful and on my 'want' list, will remain on my 'want' list at over $200. Don't get me wrong, the place is worth a look -- and if money is no object, you'll find some pretties. They also carry pretty anthropologie-esque accessories, such as necklaces, bracelets, and a very sharp silver wristlet -- soft leather -- for $50. That wasn't so bad and I almost snatched it up. Other brands spotted were Terra Provence and Tatine candles, as well as Herve Gambs.
