I called one plumber, left a message on their generic voicemail, never got a call back. So, a friend recommended Gouthro. I called in the morning and my info was taken by the nice lady that answered the phone. Greg called me back around noon. He said it sounded like an easy repair and would be in the area that afternoon, if I was home they could stop by. I was & they did. Fixed in about 15 mins. easy-peasy. Believe me, I'm keeping their info in my contacts for any future plumbing issues. I highly recommend them.

It took a few days but most plumbers had a 2 week out schedule that was not going to work for us. Jordan came on time and fixed our problem within 30 minutes. Do your research through Yelp and you will see highly dissatisfied customers with the Plumbers in Pembroke. 5 Stars for Jordan and Efficiency Plumbing! We were blindly calling every plumber in Quincy in a total panic as our basement filled with water…read morefrom our hot water heater. These guys were the first to answer, and they sent someone immediately. He quickly diagnosed the problem and presented us two options -- one, total replacement (expensive), or two, a quick fix that might buy us a little bit of time but would cost way less. Money is tight, so we went with option 2, and he told us the warning signs to look for in case it didn't work. The quick fix did not work, which we sort of expected, and again, they had someone at our house right away. This time we went with the replacement -- and they knocked off the amount we had already paid a couple weeks earlier from the new price. These guys were awesome -- quick, smart, flexible, and totally fantastic about working with our financial situation. If you're in need of a fair and fast plumber, I highly recommend them.

Taking a few stars off because I'm very disappointed with how this situation was handled…read more Cullen Plumbing installed a faucet for me that had been purchased about 4-5 months earlier. The workers who did the installation were very nice and professional, and I paid $175 for the installation. About a month or so later, the plastic sprayer part began sticking and would stay on. The hose itself was fine. One day I noticed a Cullen Plumbing van at my condo complex and saw that they were already doing work in my building. I left a message explaining the problem and said that if they happened to have time to look at it while they were already there, that would be great, but that it was not an emergency and they could come whenever it was convenient. Marc stopped by my unit that same day and agreed that the plastic sprayer part was not working properly. He asked whether Cullen had purchased the faucet or whether I had. I honestly could not remember at the time because I had been hospitalized with sepsis in December, which had significantly affected my memory, among other things. Marc replaced only the plastic sprayer part. There was no hose replacement, and the part took just a few minutes to swap out. I did not receive a bill at the time. A few months later, while preparing to sell my condo, I was going through my Home Depot account and discovered that I had, in fact, purchased the faucet myself. I wanted to do the right thing, so I contacted Marc and let him know that I had purchased it and told him he should send me a bill for replacing the sprayer part. Imagine my surprise when I received an invoice for $190 -- more than I had originally paid for the entire faucet installation -- for replacing a simple plastic sprayer part that took only minutes, especially since Cullen was already working in my building that day. I had no problem paying a fair and reasonable amount for the part and Marc's time. In fact, I was the one who reached out months later to make sure I paid for it. But $190 for this particular repair feels excessive and, unfortunately, like a quick money grab after I tried to do the honest thing. I'm disappointed because my original experience with the workers was positive. Cullen Plumbing also does a lot of work at the new community I've moved to, but fortunately I've since received a referral to another plumber whom I'll be using in the future.
