All three times they were out, but they had ribeye steaks, which are cut from...ribeye roast. I was a butcher for fifteen years and know bad orders happen, but this is clearly intentional to boost the gross profit percent through deception and down right corrupt. I have also gone there five times for advertised bacon. out each time. I drove over ten miles each time. Very expensive for switch and bait. The mgr called me after I presented this complaint to the store and was very apologetic and promised they would have the roasts all of the next two days. Went back just after 3:00 the next day and they only had the vacuum bagged ribeyes for one dollar more. This guy never runs out of tricks to keep his profit above ad prices. This has much less labor involved because they only have to weigh and put out. The clerk acted like I was stupid for wanting an item after the butcher left at two. There were no stockers yet they had canned goods, bread, produce, drinks, etc. We ALWAYS had backup meat on racks in the back to keep the counter full. I worked several stores for three companies and we would have been fired for intentionally not having products this consistently. I was offered the sale price but it would have been 70 dollars for the whole ribeye! This has ruined my Christmas plans.

The atmosphere was charming especially with the fall theme and pumpkins - there is quite a collection of private labeled jarred fruits and vegetables, a little too commercialized for me but seems to be a popular stop just off the highway. There was a decent selection of produce but some looked sad like they have been sitting out for sometime with some wrinkling and soft textures. Unfortunately we didn't see anything that we just had to have but it was an interesting visit. I think it would be an interesting place to return to when there were scheduled events or when more things are in season...

For food recommendations, my current favorites are the brisket and ribs, while my wife loves the smoked wings and sausage. So far, we've tried the baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw, and everything was delicious. The portion size for the 2-meat meal is generous enough to last for two days. The staff is also fantastic--extremely friendly, polite, and helpful if you're overwhelmed by the menu choices. We were so impressed that we made our second visit in one week tonight.
