This is kind of like Eagle River's version of the Rabbit Lake trail in Anchorage.
It's about 5ish miles long, well-graded, and without much elevation gain.
It also ends in craggy peaks flanking a lake, although there are *two* lakes in this case. There's a busted "shelter" near the lakes that makes a great snacking stop.
The lakes are Eagle and Symphony, they are fed by different water sources so are usually two different colors. (more more blue, one more turquoise)
If you venture beyond the Eagle Lake to your left, you can climb Eagle Peak.
Beyond Symphony Lake on your right, Triangle Peak.
The snow is usually melted out by June, but there's usually a boot pack through the snow in May.
