This is mainly about the pharmacy and its automated calling. We go through this every month. You call me and tell me my Rx's are ready and available for pickup. I get there. They are not there. Sometimes you guys find them but most often it is wait another day and we'll call you. But you already did call me. Again, this as nothing to do with the absolutely fabulous service of the pharmacy. More like technology is overriding common sense. I wish a human would call me and let me know my long standing Rx's are ready. I guess that would be too much for a company that has survived a century and many economic crashes. If the automated lady calls, I'll just call you guys to make sure, how about that?

Having seen the behind-the-scenes challenges of pharmacy work through my relative, I know how demanding it can be. Walmart Neighborhood Market is their entry to compete with straight up grocery stores. Unlike Supercenters, the Neighborhood Market doesn't have Tire & Lube or Vision or a nail salon. They have a very few things in the dry goods department and a full pharmacy plus the usual grocery departments. That's about it. The store is tidy and pretty decently stocked. I had no trouble finding the half dozen or so things on the list. Prices were clearly marked on nearly everything. The store is well laid out. I still won't buy dairy, produce or meats from Walmart but the frozen was fine and the canned goods and spices are good. Beer was about the usual price. Prices are very competitive. The parking lot was tidy and there were very few carts needing to be brought in. Masks are required and there is an associate checking people in and out to ensure that they are not over capacity. All of the open registers appear to be self checkout. I did not see anyone actually working a register. If you're looking for more service, there's always Harris Teeter or Food Lion or Publix. Nice and pleasant music. Entering, the store was stocked well and was being stocked! Two managers were in the produce section immediately to my right and one of them I caught eyes with. She spoke immediately and made me feel welcomed! Throughout the store, most of the staff spoke when I passed by. They apologized for the carts being in the aisle or in the way. It wasn't a big deal. I can understand. Either they restock a shelf or the shelves are empty. They had everything that I needed. Walked out feeling accomplished
