I'll bring it back when it starts acting up again and definitely give him my business. Honest and professional.

Long story short he charged me $305 to replace the mass-air-flow sensor. I agreed to the price before I knew how little work it takes to fix it. To replace the sensor it takes about 20 minutes. The part priced out at $145. He charged me $194 for the part and 1 1/2 of labor. He completely ripped me off. When i called him out on it, he had nothing to say. I said "WHAT"?? The car only had 48000 miles on it and I drove it into their parking lot just a screeching!! S0, they show me the paperwork and it does have listed a "rear" brake pad kit, so they are saying that this is what they replaced, the rears and not the fronts!!! Wait a minute, I drove it into the lot and I know which set of brakes they replaced!!! I don't care what the paperwork states, clerical error Im assuming. They would not budge, said I was wrong and basically called me a liar!!! Now I may be getting a little older but I do know my way around a car a little and Ive been scammed by some pretty creative people, but I didn't think I would be treated so rudely and called a liar to my face! I would NEVER do business with this type of operation and would recommend to whoever may be reading this to AVIOD them!!!

He is located in frederic and the local shops did not offer resurfacing and inspection for cylinder heads. He found a place in kalkaska offering this service for $250 and another in traverse city's for $130. I was convinced a place closer to home May offer this service for less. This shop is no bullshit service and is a father son duo! They told me on the phone they could complete resurfacing and inspection for $75. HUGE difference in price and location from our home in roscommon. They carefully inspected and found no major damage but sadly the valves leaked. They ordered the parts for that and had the total repair done in a matter of days. Ended up being substantially more expensive for us because of the valve job and the intricate nature of adjusting our head required. They followed up. They were through and they loaded the head into the truck for me. Extremely respectful and professional. Honest. They did end up mentioning that our mechanic may need the cam bearing replaced due to wear... which wasn't making them any money yet they called mopar and tried to clarify size and part info for me just out of kindness.
