He did an amazing Job at a very reasonable price. The whole crew, especially Corey & Billy, worked hard to identified and repair every place, inside and out, where water was getting in. They replaced old basement windows, painted and cleaned up daily. For the first time in 30 years, we have a totally dry and usable basement! Thanks Pete, for checking back after that rainy weekend to make sure we were still dry. We are.

I'll spare you the long, drawn‑out saga, but after the fiascos I endured at both Home Depot and Lowe's, I genuinely started to wonder if I was being Punk'd. By the time I reached Keystone, my trust was completely shot (as Helen can definitely confirm). But Helen in sales -- along with John and Mike on the installation team -- turned everything around. I called to ask for a estimate on how much it will cost to put the panel back in and the quoted $750, citing gas ( they are less than 5 inured from my house) they have to pay workers for a days worth of work ( it's literally an hour job). That's ridiculous!!! Don't call for repairs that's for sure. After spending 10k on the fence, it's $750 for one panel put in? Not even replaced.

Prompt and reasonably priced. They big quality work and I'm very pleased with my fence.read more

The very next day I received a drawing with pictures of the fence and pictures of the privacy fence that I requested with a quote, a very reasonable quote, compared to other contractors. Every detail was aligned and the hardware was sturdy. I was very pleased and I couldn't say enough about Dante and his uncle Joe! I highly recommend the crew and their work!!

The first time it rained after they allegedly fixed it water came in in multiple places. Spoke with the GM Andrew Minear and he had the audacity to say they would come back out and charge me more to fix what they already charged me to fix the same problem. I will NEVER use them again. I do not trust them to do a good job and honor their work. See BBB and google reviews on this company. The worked requested and contracted for was the exact same area that continued to leak. It speaks volumes when a business does not honor its work. It represents very low integrity and a lack of pride in the workmanship. Of course it is convenient but not accurate to send a self interested party (its an employee)out to say what you want them to say, but the reality is the work was shoddy and did not solve the existing problem. I will never use your company again. Buyer BEWARE.

Ed Varnes Hardwood Floors is the only company you will ever need for your hardwood floor needs. Ed…read moreVarnes is extremely professional, prompt, efficient, and kind. His prices are competitive and fair. I was surprised how reasonable the job cost. I had been putting off refinishing my dining room, stairs and spare room but I now ask myself why I waited. I had gotten several estimates, but Mr. Varnes was equal to or less than others. He came out to measure very quickly and had my estimate to me in less than 24 hours. Other companies took days to come out and actually showed very little interest in doing the job. The men working for Mr. Varnes were wonderful. Courtesy, on time, friendly. When you look up professional in the dictionary or on google there should be a picture of Ed Varnes Hardwood Floors. This company is definitely old school and, in this day, and age that is a true gift.

Ed Varnes Hardwood Floors were recommended to us by neighbors in Beech Hill. They simply said, 'Oh…read moreyeah, Varnes has been around forever, and they are the go-to flooring people around here.' And yes, they really ARE the go-to people. We found them to be thoughtful about what made sense for our home and circumstances, meticulous about details, and careful with our furniture (which they cheerfully hauled back and forth). They also took great care to mitigate the dust from their work, putting up plastic sheeting on adjacent doors, and covering the contents of closets. Other small--but telling--things: the crew was always on time, was invariably friendly and polite, and they worked around us and our unhappy little dog with grace, consideration and good nature. We installed new hardwood the living room, refinished the abutting floor to match the living room, and installed pre-finished hardwood upstairs. We are thrilled with the finished product, and would use Varnes again in the future. Great job!
