Sergio was very busy but was able to come out on a Sunday to look at the project and then sent a bid through email. I found his price to be very competitive and he understood the work we needed done. He and his crew came out and did the project in 1 day. It was a small project so it was done in 1 day, we paid at the end of the day after the project was done. They hauled and disposed of the old concrete matter. The crew was well mannered. They cleaned up the area well when they finished the project. We were happy with the work and we do recommend him.

They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. Sergio was very communicative. He understood what we wanted.His crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up after themselves. We hired Cure-Rite Concrete for two major projects. The first was installing a brand-new three-car driveway with additional sidewalks and replacing the damaged concrete supporting the pillars of our garage apartment. The second project required them to travel nearly 20 miles to my parents' home to replace an aging boardwalk with a slanted cement walkway leading to the entrance, and to bulldoze a 50-year-old cement-and-brick pillar to make room for a small side patio. I trusted Cristian (who lives in my neighborhood) to perform a driveway and sidewalk replacement…read more(around $20K). He was eager to get the job and offered a competitive price and one-year workmanship warranty. I had seen the work he had performed on other neighbors' driveways, including his parents and was impressed with the finished product. He performed the work at the beginning of this year. The weather was forecasted to be very cold, but he assured me that it was a good time to pour concrete. After pouring the first truck load of concrete, his workers used what was remaining of the concrete to start another large driveway pad section while a new supply was to arrive. Unfortunately, the next supply of concrete was delayed a number of hours (assumingly due to weather / road conditions). When the new supply finally arrived, the added it to the partially poured section (which had already started to set up) and they finished the rest of the job. Unfortunately, do the time lapse, it formed a "cold joint" and cracked completely through the slab from end to end (right along where to older cement meet up with the new cement) within several days of completion (days, not weeks, months or years!). I reported it to him immediately and he assured me that he would replace the section (remember, he offered a one-year warranty). Unfortunately, after many promising to address the warranty over the last almost year, he has stop responding to my inquires and we are now approaching a year since it was poured. In addition to this workmanship issue, the job included some other tile work that was never completed and never came back to cleanup all of the concrete splatter that covered my front landscaping stonework/windows, etc. and his team destroyed my front sprinkler system (both of which I had to clean/replace/repair at my own expense...repairs to any damage they caused was part of the deal). I hope that he will realize this is not the way to handle issues with customers. I understand that issues / problems happen (that's why business warranty their work) and it's tough to lose some of your profit to make it right - as promised - but taking the easy way out always bites you in the a$$ in the end. For example, I had several of my neighbors wanting me to give them his contact information to quote similar replace jobs, but they decided to go with different contactors given the way this has turned out. Remember what they say about Karma - it is always going to show up one day and its usually a bi@#$! Sad, seemed like a nice young man trying to build a business like his parents and brothers have done.

I made sure he understood and saw in-person what was needed and asked him if he still wanted to proceed before work started. Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. I asked him several times if he would have any issues doing any of these things and he repeatedly said he wouldn't. In the end I paid the full $950 for the work done.

He called the next week and said he would get started on a Wednesday. Then he called to say the weather was bad and wanted to push off starting to Monday. We agreed. Monday he was a no show. We made arrangements to move vehicles and have someone take time off work - so when he no showed we called him and finally reached him after several calls - he apologized and said he would start the following Monday. We told him that was fine, but if there was a change...just let us know. We did the same song and dance, took time off, moved the vehicles - NO SHOW AGAIN. Never heard from him again and don't want to. We found another company to do the work for the same price he quoted but could do it in ONE DAY and have been prompt, courteous and excellent to deal with. I would never do business with someone who doesn't even have the decency to call their clients and just say 'hey...it won't be this week - or we need 2 more weeks'. We are pretty easy going and understand things happen but doing business like this is garbage.
