I told my husband to call Burds due to their reviews and reputation...and WITHIN 45 MINUTES Ryan was on our property meeting with my husband (holy sh*t!). He eyed up the situation and gave us a price & approx. time (within a week or so). It was in our budget and time frame, and we agreed to the estimate. Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with the timeline (the winds were CRAZY STRONG) and we had to wait another week - but I rather safety come first - and that is a priority with Burds too. (Since I am in the service industry I know that customers can wig-out about this, we did not, and Burds were MORE THAN accommodating and attentive to our text). 3/27/25 was the day, they said 7:30 a.m. - and they were early (to my delight!) I wasn't able to stay and watch since I had an appointment then work. They were completed roughly at 10:20 a.m. - and everything was cleaned up nicely. When I got home that evening I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about branches falling in my driveway, or this huge tree falling on my house. Ryan and his assistant were professional, pleasant to deal with, and nicely priced for the work that they did. I would definitely refer Burds Tree Service over and over again. He used a pole pruner for a lot of the work and then used a bucket truck to prune near the top of the tree. He took his time and the tree looks really beautiful. Being a Certified Arborist which is very important, he put my mind at ease that the job would be done professionally. Clean up was not only beautiful on our property but he also made sure to get all the cuttings from the inside of the tree. Tree Lion's price was very reasonable and Sven was great to work with. Lightening fast estimates, on-time arrival, great crew that are efficient, courteous, skilled and professional, and such a reasonable price for the quality of the work done, and the scope of the work. They removed a fence panel to access a large tree stump that had sprouted 10 foot branches near and under my fence. After surrounding the area with heavy net barriers to prevent collateral damage, they brought in a stump grinder, ground up the stump after using a chainsaw to remove the sprouted branches, smooth-raked the area, replaced the fence panel secured it with screws, and made it look like nothing ever happened. See photos. I am DELIGHTED. This company is THE BEST. I now have usable space for a mini-meadow I always wanted, to make the pollinators happy while they pollinate my fruit and vegetables this summer.

The problem is that they run through a call service. The number the arborist/estimator contacts you from is a no response text. My husband and I weren't happy with the total outcome of the job and wanted someone to come and look at it. Called twice was told the first time the arborist would be there the next day to look at it. He never showed or called. Called again days later. This time the call service told my husband the arborist would call him back to discuss what we felt wasn't done. Never heard from them again. Except via email to repost the invoice to get paid. Won't be using them again. After posting this review on Google reviews they contacted us multiple times. My husband had already spent two full days cleaning up their mess. They should have contacted us back when we had called repeatedly not when they saw the review. That is not how it should work!
