After doing a lot of research and reaching out to a few different vendors, we chose South Bay Window Filming to install tint on one of our bedroom windows to reduce the heat in the room during the summer time. Brian at South Bay Window Filming was the only individual who offered to do a free on-site estimate to show me my film options and take exact measurements. Getting an estimate was easy and the price was very reasonable. On the day of installation, Oscar and Tyler came out and did a great installation job. They were on time, meticulous, and very courteous. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install window film. read more

We had some windows reprinted by South Bay Window Filming. The estimator was on time and listened carefully to what we wanted. The estimator helped us to select the correct tent. They then scheduled and sent a crew over that removed the old films and beautifully applied the new ones. Their work was excellent and looks beautiful! read more

We used South Bay Window Filming to replace the anti graffiti film inside the elevator of our property. The technicians that came on-site were professional. The technicians removed the old damaged film and installed a new film. The new film installation was done very well and clean. All the edges were cut precisely and our panels look nice and new. We're very very happy with the end result. We shall continue to use the services of this company for our future needs. Side note the owner Tyler is very pleasant and knowledgeable to speak with. read more

Excellent service from start to finish. I needed a large window and french door panels done. I was able to send photos and estimated size of all the windows and was able to do all the estimates, type of film and scheduling all through email. I did have a few questions about type of film/privacy and was able to get my questions answered quickly. Their team came in, took care of covering my floor as they had to bring in a scaffold to get to our entryway window and cleaned up after they finished. Price was good and would highly recommend them. read more

Delayed in writing this review! South Bay Window Filming saved us this summer. Our house was heating up to such an uncomfortable level that even with the AC on it was awful. South Bay Window Filming came out to provide a bid and soon after the application our house was considerably cooler. They delivered what they said they would, were professional, and the price was great too. Thank you so much!!! Can't recommend enough. read more

Tyler, the owner, came out to our house in Campbell for an in-person site visit to measure the windows and show us samples of various window tint options and explained the differences and made excellent and trustworthy recommendations and turned around a very reasonably priced quote in a couple of days later. The installer came out a few days after I signed the contract and installed window film for seven large windows. Our windows look gorgeous as it came out absolutely fantastic. It blocks the glare and it's much more comfortable inside of our house. Also according to ChatGPT for the specific type of window film installed our treated windows are now more energy efficient as it roughly doubled the R value of our single pane windows from one to two! TV glare is less and at night time the street light is less intense. For the 35 grade tint privacy from the street is excellent. We don't really need to shut your shades during the day and can bird watch from inside the house so visibility to the outside is excellent. Note we are 90 feet back from the street. read more

Good Experience. Even though it was a small job, they took care of what I needed done in a professional manner. Thank You!!!

I had no clue about this concept of window tinting until recently when someone mentioned it when I was touring a commercial property. They said that the window tinting had made a huge difference in the temperature control for the building. My house is on the hot side given the location and I decided to explore options for the house. I felt most comfortable with Tyler, who is very professional and friendly, amongst the folks I spoke with. He and his crew were always on time, courteous, and confidence-inspiring. I was happy with the job that they did. Now I need to see if it actually has an impact on my PG&E bill... read more

Could not get replies to email or Yelp message, had to call multiple times to even get a quote. Even then, did not get specification details for the film, and was told there will be no warranty for the work that will be done. Two stars for at least being courteous while I could get hold of them on the call. Customer focus not a strong suit of the business. Competitor scored on every aspect of above, and had my business. read more

I contacted Tyler this morning to ask for some help. We have west-facing sliding doors and windows and our new floors started to buckle, not from moisture but from direct sunlight 6-7 hours a day. There was a cancellation this afternoon so they just had time to fit me in. Really reasonable quote and super friendly team. The windows look great, you can barely tell there's a window tint on them as it's still really clear to see outside. Thanks, South Bay Window Filming! read more

We were looking for a window film company that would do a good job and be efficient. We found that with South Bay Window Film. Tyler was very friendly, trustworthy, and professional and he definitely knows his stuff as he was explaining to us the different types of film. He was the only company that was able to come out the same week and had a reasonable price point so we got it done. They worked quick, and were done in the same day, even removing the old window film that was all scratched up and difficult to remove that other companies had told me they didn't even want to deal with and would charge me extra for. Tyler also ended up doing our wall wrap and boy...it's beautiful! I can't stop looking at them since they are so eye catching! The seams are all lined up perfectly so you can't even tell they are different panels and Tyler even did a great job framing around the door. Definitely recommond them if you are looking for wall wrap or window film installations. Support small businesses! Also plus one in my book for Tyler's super cute pup who accompanied him at work :) read more

We wanted to add tint on our store windows and we are extremely satisfied with the work. The windows had paint on the outside which was removed and replaced with a new privacy film. Tyler was knowledgable, friendly and a true professional. The work performed as well as the quality of the film was top notch. Removing the paint created a mess and they cleaned everything up. This was money well spent as everyone on the team loves working at the store now and even our neighbors commented how nice the film looks from the outside. Tyler is very professional from communications, quotes, installation, billing to follow up. His installer was very patient and careful and did a great job of putting tint to our 4 large skylights. Cutoff the UV and heat problem, we should have done it years back. Strongly recommend. read more

After experiencing the heat retention effects of glass during the hot summer months, I was looking at options to block the heat this time around. I didn't want to get curtains or shades, which is when I discovered window tinting in residential spaces. Tyler was quite responsive, was able to come to the site and spent the time to take measurements, discuss all the options while guiding us on our choices. After discussing the windows warranty with the manufacturer, I moved forward. We got some glass covered with privacy film, and the main one covered with heat+glare reducing film. The installation was professionally done, on time. The crew was efficient and Tyler was around to ensure there were no issues. Overall I'm happy with the installation, and can vouch for the heat reduction already! Positive experience overall, and appreciate that no job is too small for Tyler and his crew. read more

We originally hired a different company. That company's process took 6 months and the film had to be taken off, It went so poorly. Tyler, of South Bay Window Filming, came out in a timely manner-masked and social distanced. He gave very helpful and thoughtful suggestions for our project. They came when they said they would, did a great job and cleaned up nicely after completing the job faster than the estimated time. We don't hesitate to recommend this company. My large upstairs windows are always facing the afternoon sun. The glare and heat were making my migraines worse by the day. Tyler did an excellent job of helping me select the right shade of film to block the heat and glare while keep the rooms bright. I highly recommend South Bay Window filming. We needed to add film to two window banks in order to reduce reflected heat that was burning the artificial lawn below the windows. Tyler responded promptly and recommended "SP Blue 75x" film from Avery Dennison. His quote was 22% less than another small window filming company using the same film product. He and his two workers did the job this morning and we are very impressed with the quality and precision of the work, especially considering it was done from a long ladder to reach the 2nd and 3rd floor windows. And they are good and trustworthy people. We will definitely use them again if the need arises. read more

We found Tyler through Yelp as we were calling for price quotes to have our office window films replaced. After receiving 4 different quotes from similar companies, Tyler's quote was the most straightforward and efficient for our needs. We thought about going with a someone else that was closer to our office in case we needed to have it redone in a few years, but chose to go with Tyler because he was also very easy to talk to, professional and courteous. He kept us on schedule and on budget without compromising his work quality. We're very happy with his services and will definitely work with him again, thanks Tyler! read more

Tyler was fantastic from the get go. I went online and got 2 quotes to tint some of the windows at our home and to frost the garage window. Tyler's quote was slightly higher than another quote we received but I instantly knew upon meeting Tyler we were going to go with him even if his quote was 2x as much or more. When we received the other quote it was rushed and the gentleman helping us didn't really care to help us pick a tint that worked best with our home, just whatever was fastest for him to stock. Also, I had thought we would do one of our windows with a tint on the top half and a frost on the bottom half, which the other company told me was fine no problem. When I asked Tyler he advised me against it due to it causing a crack in the glass (something about different temperatures and the meeting point where the tint and frost would meet would be compromised and definitely crack). So that definitely steered me away from the other company - to me they had no idea what they were doing. From the get go Tyler was the ultimate professional - responsive, timely, and friendly. He got to work immediately and was finished with all our windows (including a skylight where he had to walk on the roof!) in about 5 hours. His work is awesome and I can already feel how much cooler our house is - plus we can let in all this beautiful natural sunlight now without worrying about privacy or damaging our floors. Mahalo Tyler for your expertise! read more
