John and Annie are two of the best people you'll ever meet. They bent over backwards to help me with a difficult installation on a very tight timeline. They both stayed all weekend and worked through the night on a Sunday! Their equipment recommendations, quality work and attention to detail were excellent and it was clear they had decades of experience. My car was 50 years old and had virtually no room for equipment but they miraculously made it work. The car was destined to be driven back to Michigan by the CEO of Ford to it's new home at world headquarters. He was really pleased with the final result and we were both grateful to John, Annie and the team for all their hard work and dedication to the project. Moving from NY to Bethel made it difficult to find specialists in a few fields and as a Traveling Nurse who drives 40-50K miles a year my car was very important to me. I wanted to install a new Blackvue DR770X 3 channel(3 camera) dash-cam and it was challenging because i wanted it hardwired to my 2024 Lexus RX550H and its a hybrid so i wanted it done perfectly. From the first phone conversation with Annie at Sounds Incredible Mobile I could tell this was the best choice for anything to do with Car electronics. Everyone I came into contact with at this place was super friendly, very knowledgeable, professional and just plain super nice. I got an appt quickly and it was installed to perfection in inly a few hours and at a great price. Everyone there explained the process simply and thoroughly and asked my input(where I would prefer to have cameras placed) when appropriate. I left there wishing i wanted more stuff done to my car because coming into contact with good people like this makes your whole life better and i felt so comfortable that i didnt want to leave!! Looking around their showroom i saw they install dash-cams, high end car sound systems(amplifiers/speakers), radar detectors and modifications like Apple CarPlay upgrades. If they sell it, you'll love it. Always helpful, excellent work. The installation jobs are beyond anything I've seen anywhere else with regard to wire placement: peeking behind the panel after they're done is truly awe-inspiring. I've gotten several different types of installs done here and they were VERY friendly and helpful in my younger years when I was doing my own installs. My latest setup was a full stereo replacement with subwoofer & amp, but I finally splurged and got the full job done where they gut the interior and install the different types of sound dampening for each area of the car. I spend 2 hours commuting daily and it's worth the work. A full stereo upgrade will definitely stay as part of my car purchase budget as long as John and Annie are still running this business the way they have been since I started using them. read more

Deeply disappointing return visit after many years. *Formerly* very welcoming place with confidence-inspiring expertise that clearly has withstood the test of time had done such a nice job of installing a new head unit in my car back in the early 2000s that I drove an hour from where I now live to consult with them re: why a newly DIY-installed speaker replacement wasn't working and re: adding an amplifier to my now "classic" 30 year old German convertible. The woman who had been so pleasant and can-do many years ago couldn't have been icier this time. Seemed determined not to even speak to me, let alone have someone take a quick look. Insisted that I speak to her saleswoman in the showroom. Once the (actually quite lovely) woman in the showroom understood why I was there, she informed the boss who then came out and quite coldly said I needed to come back some other time and that it would cost a minimum of $xxx.00 (I hadn't asked about cost). Maybe she was just having a bad day, but the vibe was so weird that there was no way I was going to go so far out of my way and invest another 2 hours (round-trip) of my time in order to patronize a shop whose ownership appears to have undergone a major change in their approach to customer service. If you manage to catch them on a good day, they know their stuff and can do good work, but I can't recommend rolling the dice unless it's a short drive for you. read more

They were great in helping me solve an issue with a remote start system (installed by others) and did an excellent job installing speakers in my daughter's car. After those jobs, Annie and the team have taken the time to talk through, research and advise on a (factory installed) immobilizer issue despite knowing it was work that they would not ultimately do. I needed a new antenna for my vehicle lat November. The original power amplifier attached to the in-window antenna had blown out. I asked for a traditional mast antenna, but they told me that an antenna installed on the inside of the front window would work just as well. The device worked, but not nearly as well as a mast antenna. When I complained, they installed a "Y" adapter which linked the original antenna with the new antenna. This helped a little bit. The performance of the new antenna they installed has declined greatly, and when I brought it back, their answer was that they are sorry that I am unhappy! Their lack of customer service and their refusal to stand behind the product they installed has caused me to advise others to KEEP AWAY from this business! read more

Hands down best aftermarket installer of sound, security, radar detectors, and other unknown but pivotal technology such as dampening liners etc. They take the time to listen to what you want your budget and let you know exactly what that means you will get or be constrained by. This is a full service shop that is not just interested in getting you in and out, they want to make sure you know exactly what you will be getting. This is not to say their prices are high, rather the value in pricing / service is most definitely in favor of the customer. These are the only people that I will let play with the electronics in my classic cars, and my everyday drivers. Absolute pros in every way. If you want cheap and slap dash go for the big boxes, if you want a real professional job with adult dialogue - opposed to a hard sales pitch or worse an apathetic sales pitch - go to Sounds Incredible Mobil. They have been around a long time and it's easy to see why. The only negative is they are buried in a light industrial park but again that should not deter anyone who wants the best. Location in no way detracts from the rating, but if you don't know where you are going call them first, they will walk you through it. read more

Just coming back from yet another positive experience with Sounds Incredible, a mobile electronics business in the northern Fairfield County area. They are professional, friendly and extremely well-informed. In this case, I had originally taken my vehicle to another business that couldn't resolve my issues before going to Sounds Incredible where they quickly made an educated guess that turned out to be accurate. i had a radio put in my car at this place and after waiting a month to get it in i finally dropped it off and picked it up at the end of the day.. after picking up my car i went to check out the work they did to it and noticed that the control volume on my steering wheel did not work to my radio.. i than went back inside an asked why it didnt work an the lady at the desk said " oh remember we talked about it and you said no cause that would be an extra $100?" i said ok and walked.. i dont have time to argue with a girl when i remember exactly what we talked about.. i said i didnt want to have the radio connected to the bluetooth to the car cause i already now that my new radio comes with a bluetooth microphone that works with out connecting or adding anything that would "cost" me an extra $100 but did include the radio volume to work with my steering wheel.. i paid a total of $700 for a radio an for installing.. i paid $200 for the radio and $500 for installation that im not even happy with.. plus my radio has a few deep scratches on the screen that im not happy with at all!! im not even going back to complain about everything cause i have better things to do with my day.. i hate that i ever went there and i do not recommend for any one to go there.. most of you people dont no anything about cars or stereos and think your getting a good deal but i do no alot and i will tell you that your being robbed when you go there.. im not happy at all and wist i just left my car alone! wast of $700!! read more
