So the place have changed to Gentle dental…read more Today was my 2nd appointment with Dr. Sadhnani, I have to say the first time I went for the assessment I was very worried, going to a dentist is never my favorite activity, but I had to do it, I cracked a tooth few months back and kept delaying it over and over. The first Visit Dr. Sadhnani asked for a full series of X-rays to check the condition of my teeth, and since I have been avoiding eating on the side of the cracked tooth it made things worse for the surrounding teeth, Dr. Sadhnani went through the X-rays with me in details and showed me the work that needs to be done, and rescheduled me for today's appointment. Going in planing to work on 2 teeth I was kind of worried, but Dr. Sadhnani was very efficient and entire procedure went very smoothly with what I would call zero pain at all times, he was always explaining step by step what he is going and how I would feel. After finishing the work I asked if we can go further and have further work done that was scheduled for a 2nd visit, and he was very welcoming to do that as long as I'm comfortable. He totally understood my busy schedule and was very very accommodating. I highly recommend Gentle Dental of New Bedford and definitely recommend Dr. Sadhnani for those who fear the dentist visit like me.

Everyone was really friendly, attentive & made me feel comfortable during my 1st visit. I also appreciate how they also go through all the costs, & insurance with you before you even start a treatment, which is not how it was with my previous dental office. Definitely recommend to anyone!

I honestly love this office. Dr. Scott and Dr. Robert are a father-son team, and you can tell right…read moreaway it's a family-run place. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and you don't feel like just another patient on a schedule. They actually listen and explain things in a way that makes sense, without the usual dental guilt trip. I had two implants done here and it's hands down the best dental work I've ever had. Everything healed perfectly, the results look amazing, and the whole process was way smoother than I expected. I was honestly kind of dreading it, but they made it so easy. They're just good people who happen to be really, really good at what they do. If you want a place that feels like family and delivers top-level care, this is it.

I had two small filling fixed on my lower back bottom teeth. Just routine. they hurt like hell…read moreafter. I was told to wait. The pain NEVER went away. I called to get them fixed, for weeks. the son dentist didn't care, the father dentist was vacationing 4 days a week or was too busy. The daughter dentist seemed to care, but referred me back to the others who did nothing. I told them fact, that I had a medical treatment in CA I had to get to but the pain was unbearable. Still nothing. You can always go to another dentist they said. Which would have costs thousands to start new, and they might not know what happened. They abandoned me/malpractice. Months later, they finally realize they are massively libel (I'm guessing the office manager finally found out and told them they are in trouble and libel)..... they get me in. They X-ray and indeed find out BOTH fillings are messed up and jagged. Creating massive pain daily that would never go away until repaired. Nightmare family. The doctor I needed in LA went to the hospital with a slight pain,....ended up under a ventilator now for weeks, if he ever gets better, we already paid him. A cascade of disease that would have been caught, was missed. Our family is in ruins.

Over the years I have received dental treatment from a huge variety of talented Drs from general…read moredentists, pediatric dentists, orthodontics and my favorite of them all, oral surgery. The men practicing here have the utmost knowledge of their specialty and are also immensely likeable and adept. I had an implant placed here years ago, before more modern implant treatments were performed and I have been grateful of my treatment ever since. *I will note that I am currently a dental student, and to be honest Dr. Farren was a major deciding push in my career. His genuine demeanor and amazing skill as well as being very explanatory to any patients with piqued curiosities is part of what drew me to the field. Once deciding for sure that I was interested I shadowed for 1 summer at the office, under the direction of Dr. Robinson who is also a talented as well as supremely kind practitioner. Being both a patient, and behind the scenes at this practice has made me without hesitation give the office the highest amount of stars possible. If you're anywhere near the office and you need a tooth pulled, or any other facial surgeries performed this is absolutely where you should go.

I had an overall good experience at SouthCoast Oral Surgery. The building has an old-fashioned…read moreappearance, and there is ample parking. However, I'm deducting a star because of how unwelcoming and unpleasant the front desk staff member was. I encountered the same woman during both my consultation and surgery appointment, and her attitude was just as poor both times. Perhaps not a bad day, but a bad life....This is an environment where patients are often anxious, and basic courtesy and customer service should be the bare minimum. On both visits, she failed to acknowledge me standing directly in front of her until I spoke up after nearly 5 minutes both times. She also tried to make it seem as though I hadn't completed my paperwork, despite the fact that I had filled everything out when I first scheduled my appointment. The paperwork was sitting in a stack right next to her. There is simply no excuse for treating patients this way, especially in a medical setting where people may already feel vulnerable. Thankfully, the actual medical care was a completely different experience. During my initial consultation, I had X-rays taken and watched a video explaining the potential risks associated with wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Reid then came in, reassured me that my case appeared straightforward, and thoroughly explained the procedure. I especially appreciated that he respected my autonomy by allowing me to decide whether to proceed, how many wisdom teeth I wanted removed, and which type of sedation I preferred. On the day of surgery, despite another unpleasant interaction at the front desk over payment (that I was prepared and willing to make) ; both Dr. Reid and his assistant were incredible. They maintained a relaxed, positive atmosphere and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. They explained what they were doing as they went, which helped ease my nerves. Despite having some stubborn impacted wisdom teeth, the procedure was completed in about 15 minutes. Between the music, sedation, and reassurance, I didn't feel a thing and was in good spirits throughout the experience. My recovery has been going well so far, and I've been following their aftercare instructions. Overall, I would recommend SouthCoast Oral Surgery for the quality of care. Dr. Reid and his assistant were professional, reassuring, and genuinely great at what they do. Just be prepared to deal with a front desk experience that leaves a lot to be desired. The surgical team deserves five stars; the front desk experience is the only reason I'm giving four.
