I was lucky enough to get a spot during opening weekend with Alicia at her new location and was…read moresuper grateful that I did - she is so talented! Ver Rev was a mobile massage business that has just transitioned to an office space. The care and familiarity are still present in the beautiful set-up on site and I love I can still relax during my massage, as if Alicia was in my own home again. I was nervous about going into a setting like this during COVID, as obviously I know the cleanliness of my own home when she came before and wasn't sure what to expect when going to her now. Alicia has taken the time to ensure everything is thought of so that you protected and safe. She still only uses the massage table linens once, just like before, and sanitizes EVERYTHING. Hand sanitizer is of course available, as well as masks, hair ties, etc. I felt well looked after in the realm of cleanliness when visiting. The space is warm and inviting, with neutral colours, woods, and abundant greenery. A diffuser with a variety of scents to be chosen from is available, as well as music to suit your taste and add to the relaxing ambience. Even the bathroom feels like an escape from the worries of life with how it has been organized and decorated. On to her massages! Put plainly, Alicia has such talent in the work that she does on our bodies. She is sensitive to any tension in the body and takes her time to help relieve it. Despite no body being exactly the same as another, she is somehow able to determine exactly what one needs more than another. I have a ton of tension in my back from back injuries, hereditary problems, and more and Alicia is always able to help alleviate a lot of that pain and stiffness. She works my muscles like putty between her fingers, and is also certified to use Dynamic Cupping and Hot Stones. I've never opted for the hot stone or cupping, but felt it was worth the try this time. WOW!!! I thought for the longest time that masseuses would just lay a hot stone on your back and go about their day, but they use the stone to help massage you I can't even begin to full describe how out of this world relaxing this felt. It's as if when Alicia was melting the knots in my body that she was melting away my stress and even some emotional pain I've been carrying for a while. We literally spend so much of our day tensed up in constant half-panic worrying about life (x10 now with COVID) that I honestly don't think we even know what we're putting our bodies through. And that we're holding those worries in our bodies. I felt like my body melted during the hot stone portion of the massage, and I honestly feel like my heart did too a bit. I had dynamic cupping on one of my shoulders, near my neck, and it was the most interesting sensation! At first you feel your muscle or whatever suction into the cup when Alicia gets it in place and you're like ah this is a new sensation! But as a couple minutes pass, you can feel that part of your body relax and just let go. I'm so glad I finally tried this because it seems like such a small thing but the difference it made in my shoulder was astounding! (I dislocated it when I was 13 and popped it back into place when I had snuck out to the movies ) FINALLY SOME RELIEF!!! Ver Rev offers direct billing when you submit paper work ahead of time, and is flexible with bookings. Alicia is so hospitable and has such a warm presence, that that alone will help you relax! I think there's also a couple of promos going on right now where if you purchase a $100 massage, you get 5 x $20 gift certificates to be used on future massages. And there's also some cool prize thing where you pick a key and later on if you're the random selected customer for that key you win the prize that's in the chest it goes with!!! I loved the quality of Alicia's work when she was mobile, and I'll definitely be back to her office space now! I appreciate the lack of distractions that I would have if she was coming to my home like my partner and pets bugging me for attention/help haha. It's so nice to go to a warm and inviting space and get that time to myself!

It's very cozy and welcoming inside and the staff were very polite and cheery which always helps when you're trying out a new place for the first time. My massage was with Kassidy and her hands worked magic. We did a 1hr relaxation massage and it flew by so fast. The room was nice and large, the lighting was perfect, so was the music. Not sure was massage oil she used on me but it smelled amazing and not like your typical peppermint oil most places use. They also accept benefits if you have them. It's very close to the Costco in Sherwood Park and has tons of parking. They follow the COVID protocols and are super clean. August 30- I had the pleasure of coming back to try out some float therapy for me and my partner and it was super cool, both a first for us. The staff did an amazing job of going over everything for us. You're placed in your own single room with your pod, no need for a bathing suit because you go in your birthday suit! You shower and rinse off before going into the pod, they have showers fully stocked with shampoo and body wash. The pod has the options of blue light, multi Color light or no light, it's filled with tons of salt so you float so be warned you will feel slippery and do not get the water on your face or in your eyes (if you do they have a fresh water bottle to spray your face off). TIPS: They will offer you Vaseline to put over any cuts so you aren't stung by the salt water but I HIGHLY recommend you apply that to armpits or any other area you may have just shaved or waxed if you know what I mean. I'd also suggest you put Vaseline on any cracks you have such as eczema. As cool as it was the salt water really irritated my eczema and made my skin itch, also suggest you get the firm ear plugs they'll offer you and not the soft ones as they fell out repeatedly. WISHES: I really wish that the water could have been a tad warm/hotter. Would also be cool if you could do 30 or 45 minute sessions- I know it's an hour so you can meditate and relax but even a 45 min session woulda sufficed. It would also be cool if you had the option to play spa music or a noise machine in your pod to wind down instead of going straight into silence (music will come on 3 minutes before you session is over to let you know you're about to finish).

I was the recipient of an unexpected gift of float by my love, and I have e to say this was an…read moreamazing experience. The lobby has a nice relaxing atmosphere when you come in, and you are offered a pair of freshly cleaned sandles to wear. The attendant was very welcoming and explained the process, as well as offers a iPad that gives details of instructions and a bitnof what you can expect during your visit. The room you are assigned is clean with a fresh towel and ear plugs set aside for you. There is a shower to clean yourself before and after the salt water soak. The salt water soak itself is super relaxing (as long as you are not claustrophobic). It is a fairly large tub, big enough to stretch arms and legs out fully. You have control of the light in the tub, and there is an emergency button for just in case (but doubtful it would be needed). The water is super salty, so you naturally float on the surface, which makes it so you feel completely weightless. If you are into meditation, this is a great place to go for exactly that; as it blocks out all sound and light, which gives you a fully immersive experience of focusing inward. During my float I was able to focus on troubled muscles, and was actually able to relieve a fair amount of aches, just by slowly moving and rotating arms, shoulders, and legs in the water. This was such a great way to become connected to your body, and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely go back in the future.

When the covid checks were there, they were able to adapt, and when covid was finished they adapted again. I love how the memberships are free to sign up. You can sign up for the 12 or 6 month plan memberships. I went for the 12 months, as a new massage therapist, I need a massage every month anyways because my body will get sore, tired and tight after working on patients myself on the weekends. After a massage from any of my chosen therapists, I always feel so much better before I came in. So it's worth your time and money!! It's great that I'm able to save some money on 60 mins deep Tissue massages! For anyone wanting to save some money, please sign up for the free 12 months membership plan. It's $80/massage plus gst which is $84/60 Min massage. For the 6 months plan, it's $90/60 mins massage. Still not too bad. It's a quick drive from where I live. Only 5 mins away. Which is pretty awesome. I would love to work there again. Once again, the memberships are FREE to sign up. All you have to do is call them to sign up or the next time you see them, just mention that you want to sign up for the 12 month plan if you haven't already.

He doesn't like to see people limp so he asked if he could have a look. I told him good luck I have tried every different therapy imaginable. Boy was I wrong, he new exactly what the problem was when I explained my problems and he watched me walk. Next thing I knew he had pinpointed the spot and improved it. He explained why he could not fully release it as that would strain the other side too much. The guy is a genius when it comes to how muscles work. If you are broken whether it has been a short time or after for 15 years, give Andrew a shot. I nicknamed him "the fixer" You won't be sorry!
