I started off with an Expresso Martini which was very good and yes this is how it is spelled here and I like that because that is how I always pronounce it. With our drinks our waiter even brought us out fresh olives. Now I'm not the biggest fan but Ashley very much enjoyed it. There was a lot on the menu that I was interested in and they had a number of different cuts of beef but I had to go with the Whole Duck Breast which is also a French classic which I got cooked medium rare but I'm perfect sure that's how they suggest it which is the right way like they do with all their beef too. Ashley and I also split the French Onion Soup. I will say by Duck was very good. Tasty rich sauce with crispy duck skin cooked perfectly. Some of the best duck I have had in awhile. I will say the French Onion Soup though was a little bland. I just didn't have that rich beef broth I am used too. Beside that everything was very good and would for sure recommend going to Café Blanc for a nice menu which amazing French options.

We spoke to a lady who was American but moved to Paris years ago. She recommended the chocolate hazelnut which changed her life. So us fat kids sampled the 6 flavors which the girl brought us inside the business to give us the samples. I then told her large she gave me extra large with 5 scoops. We got lemon ice, coffee gelato, chocolate chip, chocolate hazelnut and the chocolate fondue. Everything was delicious. But I think we were gelatoed out and the lemon ice was amazing ! Everything was good but the lemon stood out. It was just more refreshing as we walked Disney Paris all day then walked from metro to the stores. Then we met the store owner who was really sweet and we chatted for a bit and then said hey do you want something to go? I said no it's ok and then she said here have more lemon ice. My wife and I destroyed that as well. She was so sweet. She said it doesn't make you fat since it's just water and sugar and fresh lemon. I said yeah it will lol. I'd come back.

This was the perfect end to a day exploring Paris. The ice cream itself was a bit sweet for me personally but was deliciously creamy and had a nice strong roasted pistachio flavor. Though if you have any kind of lactose intolerance this is no joke please beware. I gladly suffered for this ice cream. I look forward to going back the next time I'm in Paris.

After having terrible vegan crepes in the United States, I was over the moon to find a popular vegan crepe place in Paris --of all the places! I made a reservation prior to my visit, so we were seated immediately. I highly recommend to make a reservation, because I noticed that there were a lot of customers waiting to be seated as soon as they opened at noon. Knowing that they have a plenty of vegan drink menu, I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream to start. I'm super glad I did, because of all the hot chocolate I've had in Europe, this was the best one I had! The whipped cream was sweet and unbelievably creamy, to a point where it was hard to believe that it was vegan. The hot chocolate was also nicely sweetened and had a deep chocolate flavor. As for the "savory crepe", I ordered the galette vincennes. This, I was a bit disappointed with, as the mango chutney was overpoweringly sweet and the potatoes and onions tasted overcooked. The dough/crepe skin (ew) was so much softer than the vegan crepes in the United States, but it was still a bit gritty when compared to non-vegan ones. This was the same for the dessert crepe I ordered, but I liked the sweet crepe much more. All in all, I highly recommend vegans to check this place out when in Paris, as the vegan options seem particularly limited here.
