I graduated in 99, so I was in the era of our sports teams dominating at everything, but as far as I know, the teams are still good, even if they aren't #1. And there is an abundance of non-athletic extracurricular activities. From art, to activism, to music, to politics, and beyond. The student government actually has a big hand in running the school, rather than essentially being elected in name only. And I had very few of those stereotypical "getting through to retirement" bitter teachers. GO KNIGHTS! Uh, duh. Edited to add the best thing of all (and I swear if they don't exist anymore, I'll burn my yearbooks and break ties with NPHS forever). CREAMIES! You have to love a school that offers, almost at the price of a a full lunch, two giant chocolate chip cookies filled with a frosting made simply of shortening and sugar. And I wonder why I'm chubby.

But, as a past student in Methacton School District I always felt I was taken care of. I had so many wonderful teachers and support staff. Teachers and support staff who actually loved their job and went above and beyond. Those are the best type of staff in a school. The school district has so much community support. It has a tight home feel.

I transitioned somewhere in 10th grade, got the courage to use women's restrooms in 11th/12th. My first and only issues arose when Mr PISSelli decided I wasn't allowed to use the women's restrooms :). There may have been more than one reason, but his overall excuse was "you shouldn't be going in there anyways." Yet, one of my friends was getting sexually harassed by a trans girl who also used the women's restrooms. Take a wild guess what happened? Nothing. I don't care what the board said. Following orders is one thing, bowing down and sucking up is another. Standing up for what's right isn't something you'll find at CB.

Instead of being helpful they have been greeting our family for 3 years in a row with rude comments and tones. They clearly don't like homeschooling parents and I'm pretty sure they filed our first year paperwork in the trash because they had NO records of them the following year!! As homeschooling parents we can be audited for that!! When we ask them to make us a copy of their signature because of their prior negligence, they said oh if we did it for you, we'd have to do it for everyone.. oh everyone that pays thousands in tax dollars to your district and our kids never see money from that?? You can't spare a .10 cent copy? Is the district really that hard up or are they that discriminating towards homeschooling families?? You only confirmed our choice in schools since them being the face of the school is piss poor and incredibly concerning. I believe this is Colebrookdale Elm, near the giant in Gilbertsville specifically. We don't attend there I just know it's where we have to turn in the paperwork, unfortunately for us.
