I had a lot of questions for everybody, and not one person I interacted with had a problem answering everything I needed to know. I was in great hands and even though I've moved an hour half south now, I might just make the drive anyway and continue going to Life Smile. Btw, they have a TV on the ceiling for you to watch while they're doing their thing. It's a great distraction.

She was given too much anesthesia and as a result, her tongue was cut very deep during the filling she felt tremendous pain several hours later and the pain was unbearable. Dr. Choe said that the pain would last for four days. She is unable to swallow anything or move her mouth. I expected the doctor or his assistant to be more watchful during the filling. It's an act of carelessness on their part.

I then went to Nagpal Dental, my usual dentist, for a filing. She took a look, and I had no cavity. Jet Dental is incompetent. Nagpal Dental was honest, professional, understanding, and kind. The people there care about their patients and will not drill for no reason. They know what they are doing. In Port Jervis, they are the absolute best. Period.​

It was supposed to be something like 60% off, so you can imagine what the actual charge would have been. They added on a lot of extra charges for exams and office visits and x-rays, but these were never mentioned on the phone. I have a regular dentist, I just went to him for an extraction. I really didn't need an exam, and only needed 1 tooth x-rayed. Funny though, when I put a claim in to my insurance company a week or two later, the charge was only $360 and they only got paid $270. My share, according to the claim was $90, but they only refunded me the $270 that the insurance company paid them. If I had been able to use my insurance from the start I would have paid $90, but because I had to file a claim a week or two later I ended up paying twice as much. I pointed out the mistake and asked them to fix the error, but they refused. What kind of professional office has to steal from their patients??? The quality of the work was not up to par either. He jammed in the novacaine, then the tooth next to the extraction started hurting. Less than 2 weeks later it broke. I had no problem with that tooth before I visited here! All in all, I'll pass on this office from now on!!!
