Gryphon Extreme Inc. - Review…read more How a negative turns positive My issue in short: - New house, 4 years old - Grrr - My initial issue was my gutters as they were leaking - Had 4 companies in, all said the same: o Over hundred nail pops, ridge vents were too wide hence water/snow was entering the attic, i.e. the roof was not put on properly - Builder was the previous owner, therefore No Tarion Warranty - When I met Dave, my gut said yes - he is personal and not a hard sell - Work started, his team arrived on site - they were all very personable, they all worked as a team. Further, in talking to his team, the majority had been with him for over 5 years - which says a lot - Job was completed, they all worked to clean the site - which was done perfectly - no nails or debris left I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Gryphon Extreme Inc.. I would be please to talk to any potential customers - please ask Dave Spalla for my number and if you're in my area please stop by the house to see the excellent roofing job Gryphon Extreme Inc did on my roof and gutters. Thank you, Paul

We paid good money for what turned out to be a very disappointing roofing job. The workmanship was…read moreunprofessional from the start. When the roof was completed in 2022, I immediately contacted the company because the shingles were crooked and hung unevenly off the edge of our house. It looked sloppy, and I wasn't happy with the quality of the work, so I left an honest negative review. The company responded and said they would come back to fix it. Instead of properly correcting the workmanship, they simply cut off the overhanging shingles. We later discovered that the cut pieces, along with other roofing debris, had been left inside our ventilation system, causing additional damage, cleanup, and expenses that we had to deal with ourselves. To make matters worse, we found hundreds of roofing nails scattered throughout our driveway, yard, gardens, and around our home after the job was completed. This created a serious safety hazard for our family, our pets, and our vehicle tires. A professional roofing company should take the time to thoroughly clean up after a job. The roof still looks poorly finished, and what should have been a straightforward repair ended up creating even bigger problems. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. We paid a significant amount of money expecting quality workmanship and professionalism, but instead we were left with a poorly finished roof, debris in our ventilation system, hundreds of nails around our property, and additional costs to fix problems that never should have happened. Please do your research before trusting this company with your home.

***BUYER BEWARE*** If I could give zero stars I would. Hiring Jordon/Dryhome Roofing was one of the…read moreworst decisions we have made. After our roof was reshingled by them we suspected some water was leaking in from our dormer roof. We called Jordon to come back to take a look and he told us he couldn't come because he was out of town. We contacted another roofing company that came out and filled some nail pops and caulked around our chimney flashing. However, we continued to have water leak. We contacted Jordon again and he returned to the property and stated there was no issue with the roof and he believed the leaking was from our eaves and more caulking was needed around the chimney. My husband told him he would complete this work himself and did so. We even went as far as having the chimney reparged to attempt to stop the leaking because as per Jordan, the leaking was a non roofing issue. Despite all this, we've continued to have leaking from the dormer roof. My husband has not be able to reach Jordon since he came back to the property. This winter/spring we had extensive water damage. We have had to completely open up the exterior wall and ceiling of our bathroom from the water damage. When it rains we can continue to see water coming in from the dormer roof clear as day and have video footage of this. This is definitely a roofing issue despite what Jordan claims. My husband was able to reach him on his work phone and he stated he would come back out to the property and he ghosted. My husband was able to reach him again from his work phone and Jordon admitted to blocking his personal number "a long time ago." Then he proceeded to threaten him that if he messes with him he knows where he works now, "so fuck with him and find out." I am not sure what he means by this. I assume he means by leaving a review such as this or contacting the BBB or a lawyer. Clearly their 20 year warranty on workmanship means nothing and Jordon operates his business completely unprofessionally. We tried to give Jordan the opportunity to make things right and clearly he has no intent on doing so. I am leaving this review because I would hate for anyone else to be subjected to this and quite frankly Jordon does not deserve the business. Avoid this roofing company at all costs!!! I suspect Jordan will reply to this review and say that he has no idea who I am or what I am talking about or that I maybe even have the wrong company because that seems to be his common response to his poor reviews, but that's okay because I still have my receipt and I know I have the right company!

Setting up an appointment was very easy. The inspector, Jim, is very friendly and approachable. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and extremely thorough in the inspection, noting not only big things, but even the small details, such as a missing screw in the fuse box. All during the inspection Jim would answer questions and point out things that need repair or altering. He also has a great infra-red camera that can identify hiding cold/damp spots in the walls and ceilings Everything is documented in writing and photographs, and he emails a thorough report at the end of the inspection. Prices aren't the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive in the area. But in my opinion the prices charged are fair, and certainly value for money. I was more than happy with the service received.
