I went to go and get my mic fixed on my iPhone 7. He said he couldn't fix it so he gave it back. The bottom on my phone screen was warped and he claimed that it was already like that. It was NOT. I later found out my vibration didn't work either. A couple of days later I took my phone in again.. BAD IDEA!!!! He didn't fix the vibration and made it so my touch ID doesn't work at all including my home button. I will never go back to SOS Computers. I recommend you do not either. read more

Walked in with a computer I knew was done but wanted the files. The staff member told me it would start at $50. I asked them to phone if it would be higher. I said that the files I was working to recover were worth $50 to me but they wouldn't be worth more than $50, I would do the work myself to start over on those projects if it were more than $50. I didn't need diagnostics or repair because I'd already purchased a replacement laptop, as this one was already quite old. Got a call later from the owner that it was $100 for the files and $50 more for a drive. I said I'd brought my own drive in. He didn't realize that, even though I wrote on the form will bring in my own flash drive. I told him I was upset about how I had been given wrong information and my instructions weren't followed. His solution at first was that I could just pay the $35 diagnostic fee. I refused. I had specifically said I didn't need the laptop diagnosed or repaired, just my files recovered. Then he said I could pay the $100 and get the files on my own drive or pay nothing and he'd let me have my computer back (with no files so I can't take them elsewhere) and he'd waive the diagnostic fee. He also said how irresponsible his employee is and that he would fire him and that he doesn't follow through. Which is completely unprofessional and none of my business as a consumer. If an employee doesn't do good work that is a reflection of you as a manager. Personally, I thought the person I talked to was warm, friendly, willing to provide information and answer questions, and FAR nicer to work with than he was. I will say I mentioned that I understand his wanting to be paid for work that he did. And that I value his skills as he's able to provide a service to do something I personally can't do. But his attitude was rushed, emotionally defensive, and the service I received wasn't what I was led to expect. read more

Walked in with a "phone disaster" and needed it working ASAP. I have a new iPhone 7 and I thought it would take days to fix. Happily, one hour later my phone was new again. During that hour, I sat in a comfortable chair and was offered a coke and watched on the over-head screen the man working on my phone. I was really pleased with the service. read more

SCAM ARRTIST!!! Very expensive!! Do not go here. I was told they put a brand new hard drive in my computer only to find out 6 months latter they really didn't. They refuse to show me proof of any hard drive that was purchased, or any warranty info. Extremely overpriced, spent $500 getting my computer "fixed" only to have it crash beoynd repair.
