The exterior is simple and to the point, a couple windows at the front. Walking in, if you have a backpack or larger bag, security will give you a large clear plastic bag to place your bag into, then it is locked with a key while you carry it around the store. When you check out, they unlock it for you. There are about 7-8 aisles of products, with quite a wide selection of items for the size: a fresh produce section, cheese and charcuterie, dairy, meat and fish, refrigerated food, canned, dried and preserved goods, beverages and alcoholic drinks, snacks, cookies and candy, frozen food, general household goods. The cheese/charcuterie/olives and meat sections looked terrific. So many options! I wish I could've tried more things here, looked like a good place to pick up sandwich and picnic items for a family if you're looking for a more economical meal. I bought only a can of chinotto (Italian soda reminiscent of root beer), and check out was at one of a few registers at the front. Not much interaction with the staff working though checkout was quick and the store was neat and clean!

This shop isn't large, there's room or a handful of seats in the back and several tables out on the sidewalk in front. At around 11am on a weekday there were only a couple other customers inside. Ordering was quick, staff seemed a little distracted though I didn't have much interaction. This review is for their palmier cookie, which was kinda meh, though probably my fault for ordering something that wasn't what they were known for. It was covered in sugar syrup and just very, very sweet. I couldn't eat more than a few bites at once. The texture was flaky and crispy though could've been a little fresher. The tables outside and the counters inside unfortunately weren't very clean, I had to brush off crumbs. At least there was a place to sit for a bit.

The outside of this store clearly features the gelato flavors--they're listed out in the window, so you can be tempted by any and all of them lol. Some interesting ones include: - ARACHIDE E CARAMELLO (PEANUT& CARAMEL) - FICHIAMANDORE (FIGS, ALMONDS & BAY LEAF) - RICOTTA, NOCI, MIELE (RICOTTA CHEESE WALNUT & HONEY) - FONDENTE ALL' ARANCIA (DARK CHOCOLATE ORANGE) - MELAGRANA E FRUTTI ROSSI (POMEGRANATE & RED FRUITS) - MELBANA (BANANA, APPLE, LEMON) I really wanted to try the fig, almond and bay leaf--sounded like an interesting and tasty combo. They were giving out samples of the pineapple and basil which I tried and it was a refreshing flavor for a warm day. Definitely would come back if I'm back in Sorrento!

It is located above the pasta shop, and I wish I had more time to browse the store. We had reservations for a later time, but fortunately it was not busy and we were able to get a seat at the bar almost an hour and a half prior to our reservation. Make sure you have your green pass or COVID vaccine card to enter the restaurant. Oh. My. Goodness. What an experience. It was our first Michelin star dinner and they definitely delivered! It was so cool sitting at the bar and watching the food prepared in front of us. Servers and chefs were all amazing and explained everything so well. We opted for the Di Martino Tasting menu with wine pairings - essentially 8 courses and 6 wines. In a nutshell, we had: Amuse-bouche del Sea Front (cheese-stuffed pasta with cod), pumpkin orzo with calamari, gemmelli with lentils and clams, penne with tomato sauce and beets, penne with pork shoulder, conchiglione with roast beef, and lastly, La Devozione - their signature spaghetti and best I've had! For dessert, we had a pastamisu and gifted a dessert box with a variety of pastries from the chef. Despite how small these plates look, we were absolutely stuffed afterwards! Still thinking about this delicious meal! We heard that a location is opening in New York City and I can't wait to make a visit!
