This a popular place to shop (not just of groceries but also all sorts of other things - somewhat similar to Walmart), accessible by bus (many of which list it on the front window as a stop). It's also a place to find low cost food to eat while there. In addition to the food court restaurants near the cash registers, (and also even many more upstairs near Cinépolis), there is also a mini cafeteria inside the store itself - offering many options. I tried the 5 taco and a drink for $52 MXN (around $2.70 USD at time of posting) before buying groceries to make meals on my own.
Be sure to check your receipt and change. Some of the cashiers will short you - and deny it when you call them on it and show them how much you are owed. Rounding up is common, but this place has now lost my trust and business - over a few Pesos. read more
