This is a shopping mall that is located just north of the Cabo San Lucas marina. If you are staying…read morein Cabo for awhile or renting an AirbnB, I highly recommend going here to buy all your essentials. The main store is the Walmart where you can get all of your grocery, clothing and pharmaceutical needs at less than half the price of the stores at the marina. The souvenir stores there all try to charge $20 or more for sandals. You can find sandals at the Walmart for $5. If you do not have a car, you can take a taxi or Uber here for less than $10 each way. There is a decent food court here too. You will find many local people shopping here because these are the prices you should be paying.

This is the spot we consistently trucked off to in order to escape the egregious prices in the Golden Zone and stock up on supplies for our time-share rental shelves. There's a supermercado, pharmacia, and even a turista information booth, if you're in to that thing. Mostly we came here for the Supermercado, which is decently well stocked. Ample parking abounds, and it's way more convenient to the Golden Zone on foot than, say, WalMart.

This location, which anchors The Plaza Cabo San Lucas, is your standard Walmart from the outside, but inside it is a different world that I was not expecting! The store is well laid out, clean, stocked, features all the specialty counters we need plus cafes with seating on both ends of the store...and they even had a gelato spot up front! I know this is a fairly new location, so it being in good condition was expected, but they do a great job at keeping this location up cleanliness and condition wise. Service was solid. When we needed help on the floor, someone was able to assist. Cashier was friendly and helpful...even given the slight language barrier. Overall, I was impressed with this Walmart...and that it the first time I've ever said that, so you know it was for good reason!

It's his only source of caffeine as he doesn't drink coffee, tea, etc. We were close by having a meal and decided to walk over to grab some provisions for our hotel. (We were not staying at an all inclusive.) Ended up grabbing the items above. It was pretty easy to navigate this Walmart. I just wanted some bubbly and snacks and easily found them. Check out wasn't too difficult. Afterwards, I believe we called an Uber to pick us up. We ended up walking around the corner to call the car as to avoid the parking lot and other cars. You know the stuff: lots of pink, lots of cute. None of it especially well made, but all of it priced accordingly. The space isn't very big, but it's got a lot and is visually appealing. The store clerk spoke only a little English, and unfortunately the credit card reader wasn't working, so I did end up having to fiddle with cash and currency conversions when checking out my daughter's purchase.

This a popular place to shop (not just of groceries but also all sorts of other things - somewhat…read moresimilar to Walmart), accessible by bus (many of which list it on the front window as a stop). It's also a place to find low cost food to eat while there. In addition to the food court restaurants near the cash registers, (and also even many more upstairs near Cinépolis), there is also a mini cafeteria inside the store itself - offering many options. I tried the 5 taco and a drink for $52 MXN (around $2.70 USD at time of posting) before buying groceries to make meals on my own. Be sure to check your receipt and change. Some of the cashiers will short you - and deny it when you call them on it and show them how much you are owed. Rounding up is common, but this place has now lost my trust and business - over a few Pesos.
