My German half-brother-in-law and I both ordered the Schnitzel, and he actually said it was very well done and one of the best ones he's ever had, which I think says a lot!! My husband got the pork knuckle which was really just way too much food, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. The servers were very kind and helpful, and although we sat outside because the weather was nice and there was no air-conditioning indoors, I got to walk through the restaurant to access the salad bar and was surprised to see how nicely decorated it was inside. The service was very nice; our waiter was telling us about the dishes and making our visit pleasant in general with his attitude. The food: OMFG... The head chef has a way to put together unexpected details on the menu, for examples sweetbread and scallop, truffles with lobster tail and fish, and fois de gras in ravioli, and he/she pulls it of gallantly. We had the 5 dish gourmet menu with a few, very good wines from the list to it. There was often silence between me and my co-eater in order to fully enjoy the beautiful taste combinations. Very pleasant indeed.
