Just like Worpswede as a whole, the cafe/restaurant is entirely reliant on tourism. This is reflected by the opening hours which cater for a long weekend starting on Wednesday and closed on Monday and Tuesday - very disappointing when you hope to catch a less crowded glimpse and a more relaxed taste of the menu once the Sunday coach loads have departed ...
