My favorite bottle!
Holden D.

I just wanted to update my review (I just ordered my first case of wine ) ... Quality of service, selection of wine, and customer assistance remains top notch. If you have any questions pertaining to wine Lieby is the go to guy.

I was looking for a nice drink to go with my dinner. Nice Gentleman approached Me. He suggested, I try His favorite wine. I did. Then I got really sick. I go to the hospital. Come to find out I Got Pregnant. 9 months later, I am now a proud parent of another Baby Boy. Thanks for the magic.

Love this place! We ordered a bottle of wine to be delivered and when the guy came, he handed me the bottle and I dropped it! He came back with the same wine and didn't charge me - even though it was my fault. Really good service.

Great experiences every time I'm in DOC. Like many of the other reviews state, the selection of…read morewines and liquor is pretty expansive and meets any price point you're looking for. I mainly come in for red wine and rosé, but I've also picked up orange liqueur, Aperol, and champagne. It also looks like they have a huge wall of whiskey and rum. The location is situated around Motorino, OTB, and Meadowsweet so it's hard not to pop in when I'm walking by. The building is super old and has a cool vintage charm inside. The prices are pretty standard for the area if you're looking for a reasonable bottle to go -- I usually grab a bottle of pinot noir for around ~$14. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you have questions. They keep max occupancy to 2 people and require masks, so I've never gone in and felt weird. I wish they had a loyalty program, because it's not exactly the closest wine shop place to me, but I still stop in if I'm headed that way. Looking forward to my next (inevitable) visit!

This store used to be a dream of wines and liquor.. it used to have Orak, Pastis, Tito's, Montenegro, Cynar, the wine with the lobster, the orange wine with the snail, cognac , amazing champagne from champagne .. they have never restocked anything and the store is a shell of what it was .. there is a world renowned steak house and cigar shop across the street .. it should reflect the refined taste of neighborhood.. we all hope one day they will restock the numerous bottles of great things they once had.

The place feels like a meat locker, brrrr, in the best way possible! Especially in NY heat waves. I popped in with my friend last Saturday. It was so hot we almost made it to the back patio when it hit me that were in the shop's back wine cooling area. The patio also looks gorgeous and I'm hopping they will do wine tastings back there when it cools down. It would be a lovely fall event space. There are a couple things that draw me to this space. The ROSE all day rack is definitely one of them. Yes, I am a sucker for rose and I'm ok admitting that to the world. The rack has all those nerdy descriptions to help with the notes like almond and huckleberry. Those notes that help the buyer decipher what kinda classy, tasty bottle to devour. If you are in the mood for something dry and fruity or earthy and robust. I have been known to call champagne the woman's forty! There's four glasses in a bottle. The space is huge and has calming with modern lighting. The wine is divided by region for the most part. I'm always drawn to the France and Argentina but will also go the Spain and Australia route. Yum! This is the place to get your AbFab* on and pick up your home collection of vino. There is a discount when you buy 6 bottles. Cheers! *Absolutely Fabulous is a British tv series, watch the French winery episode

It's right up there with Beer Boutique, just more central, expanded selection and easier to shop. The owners are really nice and the place is super clean, not that that means anything just making note. If you're buying a fancy 4 can of hard to find out GRIMMs expect to pay the $5.99*4. It's just price of nice beer, kinda like wine. In my opinion the name should really have craft beer not smoke shop, since more people are drinking than vaping these days.

There's a very…read moreeasy-to-miss piece of paper on the checkout counter stating this, and the guy had a placemat covering the relevant part, so it wasn't visible when I was checking out. When I asked about the fee on my receipt, he kept pointing to a note that said you get a "discount" if you pay in cash. I kept saying that I wasn't asking about a discount but about the fee on my receipt. After a few of those back-and-forths, he finally uncovered the note stating the fee and rolled his eyes. Seriously? Who is deserving of an eye roll here? A customer surprised to be paying a random additional dollar amount on top of a store's already ridiculously inflated prices ($3 more for a six-pack of hard seltzer here than at other stores in the neighborhood, for instance), or some dude trying to swindle people out of money? Also, I looked into this further, and their approach appears to be illegal. For instance: '[A New York Court of Appeals decision] ruled merchants should be allowed to charge you more if you pay with a credit card but only with exceptions. - You must be told upfront with a posted credit card price and a posted cash price for every single item. - A flat percentage surcharge is not allowed. "You must list both your cash price and your credit price in dollars and cents conspicuously," said Attorney David Sieling with Brenna Boyce P.L.L.C.'
