Food is decent, fairly pricey for what it is but not hugely more than what you pay at many cafés. The eggs Benedict is reasonable. Eggs poached ok though often a pale small yolk (not sure where they source them, I don't think they are free range), served on an English muffin with some very tasty ham. The hollandaise sauce is thick and creamy but tastes fairly generic. I have had the full breakfast twice and it was quite different in volume and quality each time. Generally a good basic breakfast with all the bits and pieces and cooked just fine. Nothing special though and at $19 not the best deal either. I would say that the cabinet food does look pretty good so there is plenty more for me to try out! Despite the only average to good food, I would still recommend this cafe. Decent/good coffee, decent food and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Zest is a pizza restaurant and cafe so you can enjoy quick cafe sandwiches and coffee or sit down for an extended meal from their restaurant menu. They are most known for their pizzas, which are more of a thin crust style and come loaded with the toppings you select. They will gladly do a half and half pizza for $2 extra. One regular pizza is definitely enough slices for sharing. Mark and I split the Greek and Zest Favourite. The Greek (tomato base) has fresh roasted garlic, feta cheese, olives, chunky tomatoes, red onions and spinach and is topped with sour cream and parmesan. It is AMAZING and refreshing. The Zest Favourite has chicken, red onions, capsicums, cranberry sauce and Brie. Yum, yum, yum! but is a little more savoury than the Greek. The cranberry sauce is not overpowering as I was expecting, but is delicate and hardly noticeable. This pizza is also tomato-based. Not in the mood for pizza? Zest also has pastas or other mains to consider. Not to mention entrees or their desserts (unfortunately we were coming straight from the Cadbury Factory so we just stuck to the proteins). Zest has an extensive wine list and a moderate beer selection. The wines are mostly local NZ with some Australian selections and the beer is all NZ local. We also tried the curried chicken wrap which was tasty, and minced meat pie which was decent. Service is great and staff is friendly. You are given a number if you decide to eat-in and the drinks are brought timely. The food may take awhile, but it's fine since you can sip on your drink in the meantime.
