When my younger daughter was hesitant to go in, the employee said, "Let me get someone with dark skin because dark skin gets along with dark skin, and white skin with white skin." I was shocked and extremely uncomfortable. Comments like this have no place in a children's gymnastics facility. Very disappointing first experience. Regarding my younger daughter, I completely understand that she was having a difficult time following instructions and may have been distracting other children. I have no problem understanding that and addressing it with her. However, I did not feel that it was appropriate for the floor manager, Kiky, to mention that "everyone else is paying." I understand that the other families are paying, but so am I. I paid for my daughters to participate before they even started, so it made me uncomfortable to hear that comment. If there was an issue with my daughter's behavior, I would have completely understood being approached about it and being told what she needed to improve. But bringing up the fact that other people are paying felt unnecessary. I'm not trying to excuse my daughter not following instructions. I understand that there are rules and expectations, and I am willing to work with her on that. My concern is with how the situation was communicated to me. Because of the way the situation was handled, I did ask for a refund. I feel that was reasonable since my daughter was not allowed to continue participating after we had already paid for the program.

The people who ran the school were just the most kind and caring people, and I believe a few of them are still there today. They provided a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for my son after school while dad and I were still at work. We never had to worry about him when he was there, and that's just priceless. I am very thankful to Redwood country day school.

My kids have made so many friends here and Nancy and Jacqueline are the best!! They treat us like we're family! They are always so caring, nice, and loving to the children. Even the young student teachers are great with the kids and help with their homework after school! As soon as you walk through their doors you feel at home. I have never questioned my kids safety at this child care, it is very clean and well organized with different age groups and fun activities to do! We actually discovered Body English after attending a friend's birthday party there, and knew we wanted to come back for our son's. Russell and Kinsley were fantastic! They were incredibly helpful with setup and had the kids completely engaged with obstacle courses, games, and activities. The kids had an absolute blast, and the adults had a great time too because we could relax and watch them run around and have fun. I especially loved that kids of all ages could participate--the younger and older siblings had just as much fun. Russell and Kinsley also handled all the cleanup at the end, which was such a nice bonus. I thought the party was very reasonably priced for everything included, and I can't thank them enough for making our son's birthday so much fun. Highly recommend Body English for birthday parties--we will definitely be back!

Both of our children loved every teacher and every classroom they were in throughout the years. They were always excited to go to TLE, and they believed that every classmate was their friend. The classrooms were lovely, clean and well organized. The meal plan was superb, and very convenient. The outdoor play areas were large, shaded, customized to age range and abilities, and filled with bikes, water pads, and sensory toys. Communication with the director, Kenzie, and assistant director, Rosie, was immediate, considerate and thorough. Our eldest was fully prepared for kindergarten when she graduated from TLE. She understood classroom dynamics and expectations, and she had mastered measurable skills in language, reading, math and art. Our youngest was loved and nurtured during his time at TLE, and the teachers were incredible at supporting us during potty-training and different developmental stages. There is a lot of love, care, and attention to detail in this safe, professional and fun little school. We miss it a lot!

The program is geared toward all types of woman, no matter where they are physically. The owner and instructor, Marisa, does a wonderful job at ensuring that everyone gets in a good workout, all while being aware of each individuals level of exercise output/comfort. RunMama is also great for young children as there is a program for them to participate in while mom is working out. The class leader, Noah, invites kids to sing along to songs, dance, and participate in kid friendly exercises/obstacle courses. My 2yr old had an absolute blast playing along with the other kids and stepping up to the challenges that Noah created. I personally find RunMama an encouraging program for moms and kids, as it allows children to witness their moms exercising, which aides in them seeing us as healthy role models. I've only been once but I'm already looking forward to attending more classes, getting fit, and learning more from Marisa as I continue on my health journey.
