It was also a nice plus that they setup the day before the party and take down the day after so the birthday kid can get a lil extra time. It was especially nice for us bc our daughter is only 1 so we didn't want her in there with the big kids so she got to play in there before and after her party when it was extra safe.

I feel extremely confident that my son's 6th birthday party was going to be in good hands. Julian's show, which he customized for 5-6 year olds was amazing! The kids (about 16 of them) were completely enthralled and LAUGHING the entire time. The adults were totally captivated too and many could not believe their kids could be attentive for so long (about 35 minutes). As promised, my son was the star of the show, which he loved, and Julian selected one other boy to come on stage too. It was obvious that Julian really knows his audience. In talking to the other parents days after the show, I learned that their kids could not stop talking about the magic show. It was HUGE hit and just the perfect thing for a 6 year old and his friends. Julian helped create a very special memory for my son on his special day. I would highly recommend him!

Out of 4 lighting companies I queried, Creative Lighting Design also gave us the most affordable quote, a win-win! His associate Justun worked our event and did a great job! The dance floor lighting and amber uplights added warmth to our industrial-looking reception space, although I did wish the dance floor lighting had "swirled" I assumed it would, but it was not specifically discussed beforehand). My planner took the reins that night and she did not mention any bumps in the set-up or break-down process. Creative Lighting Design provided wonderful service at a great price. Thanks Jimmy!

Pictures came out great and the venue looked even more beautiful after they dimmed the lights for dancing. Jimmy hung the lights well before the reception and took them down the next day. Everything was so seamless. My wedding was in San Francisco even though he's located in Napa.
