I had the überbackener Nudel. You really have to like spinach when you order this dish because that is the main ingredient. The cheese is sliced cheese lightly backed over the spinach with some linguine noodles. The flavor is, well, spinach flavored. My big and really only disappointment was our waiter. He seemed unhappy to be there, or was he unhappy that we were there? I don't know. He was about as warm as sand paper. One of my friends asked what white wine he recommended and he snapped, "they are all good." Ok then. At the end of our visit we all tried to pay separately, I wanted to pay with my CC, instead of just telling me that my bill has to be at least 30 euros, he just pointed at a hard to see black and white sign. Ok then. Will I be back? I haven't decided yet.

We were accompanied by a dog and were pleased that there were no problems with taking him in with us. My salad was fresh and crispy of a wide ranging variety, my companion ate her goulash with relish, we enjoyed the meal immensely. Highly recommended.

Unconvinced that an establishment named Frankfurt and Friends would produce good Indian food, I decided to go the pasta route. I ordered the pasta a ioli. It was sphagetti style pasta tossed in light olive oil and lots of garlic. Perfect comfort food. And the garlic was on point although my breathe and tummy definitely paid the price after. For dessert, I got the chocolate mousse. It was served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Soft and moist, the perfect ending to a tasty meal.

My husband and I actually ordered the same thing: The Frankfurt and Friends burger without bacon, but with added mushrooms and steakhouse fries. Kiddo got a single order of fries. The food was good - definitely one of the better burgers in Frankfurt - and the fries hit the spot as well. The service was just A-OK. Our waiter was friendly enough, but not super enthusiastic. Also, I actually told him that I wanted the burger medium-rare, but it came well done. Since the burger was good, it's no biggie, but there is certainly room for improvement. Overall I enjoyed the visit and I love that they are using locally sourced beef. I'd come back and bring some of our out-of-country friends as well.

Unfortunately, the service was about the worst thing that ever happened to us in Frankfurt or anywhere for that matter. Our children were not very loud and were flirting with the guests on the table nearby (who were flirting back). A few minutes into our stay, the waiter comes and asks us to "tune our children down" and to imagine we would be on a romantic dinner - "would you want to be disturbed by children's noise?" he asked. "And just to make it clear, nobody complained, I just want to make sure it stays like that." What should you say to that? Well, we tried our best and did stay calm. Until we (remember, all adults at our table had wine and a full meal) took out the drinking bottle for our daughter when the waiter came again with the words "I don't want to be annoying, but could you please be so kind and remove this drinking bottle from the table?" Sounds like this story is made up? That's what I would think, if I hadn't seen it. What is really sad about it is that we really liked the food, the prices and the restaurant, but like this, we sure enough won't come again.
