After my interview (you should know that I'm an over thinker and didn't believe I did well) Justin consoled/assured me that he was confident I did well annnd.... He was right! Justin called me back, approximately an hour later, to inform me that the company wanted to extend an offer. It didn't stop there, Justin made sure that he followed-up with me and the company until both my drug screen and background check were successfully completed and even remembered to send me a little "good luck" email the night before my first day. I've worked with SMCI a few times over the years. They landed me an offer I didn't accept about 8…read moreyears ago (due to competing offers) and I worked with them again recently when job hunting. I have been to their office and can speak to the fact that they are legit...not just an email recruiting platform. Real people, real paychecks, real business, that really cares. In fact, when I contacted the person who had been emailing me she was sitting next to the same recruiter who had landed me the offer 8 years earlier. She was still there! That's just kind of crazy in the recruiting world...there's normally very high turnover. Therefore, they were the first ones I contacted when I became available and it was because of regular communications/check-ins from them (maybe one a quarter?). The check-ins were by real people too...phone calls from the same people I'd worked with, emails, etc. If I wasn't looking I just told them and they were cool with it. There are 3 recruiting companies I will work with in Phoenix (check my reviews) and SMCI is one of them. Don't waste your time elsewhere.

In a placement agency we KNOW how rare that can be! I've talked with both Jackie and Lou and both have been great. They get 4 stars for their professionalism and super convenient office location, but if they ever score me that perfect job I might just have to come back and make it a 5.
