He's incredibly detail-oriented, helping us plan every part of our event. He even caught specific things that we definitely would have overlooked. We felt his knowledge of music was unmatched compared to the other DJs we spoke to. Complete night and day difference. What stood out to us the most was how much he genuinely cared about making our event perfect. It felt like he was as invested as we were. One of our biggest concerns was getting our family members to dance. Tommy made sure there was a real flow to the playlist, which kept even the non-dancers out on the floor all night long. Tommy went above and beyond for us and treated us like family. Just talk to him, and you'll quickly see why we're recommending him so highly. Thank you again, Tommy!

Honestly, most people were so full from the day but still managed to grab things on their way out and were so excited for it. We received an extra tray of empanadas from the drivers which we were not even expecting! It was great and when it was over and the two hours were done they packed up all of the fast food and passed it along to us so we had it at the after party. It was a great experience. The only reason I took off one star was because giving the final payment was a bit of a challenge. It had to all be in cash and we had to deliver it which in the final days leading up to the wedding was an added stress that would have been better if we could have mailed a check, used venmo or handled it sooner. Overall, I would definitely recommend them again to anyone interested. They were easy to contact, always responded quickly, accommodated us the best they could and they were very nice and fun. It's a great company.

He came in looking like a slob in a faded black T-shirt and wasn't very friendly. When we approached him with a box full of light-up toys to hand out, he said, "Leave them there [indicating the stage/platform] and I'll take care of it." He never handed them out. He never did anything to engage the crowd, such as announcing some of the #1 hits from our high school years. We we called to give feedback to Party Harty they were rude and dismissive and told us we got what we paid for. We paid $1,300 and we certainly did not get our money's worth. We would have been better off bringing in a CD player or just streaming a 70s station ourselves. I will never recommend or use them again!

We are pleased to recommend Tommy Cerino of Needle in the Groove. Our family has had the pleasure…read moreof working with Tommy on numerous occasions over the past 20 years, and most recently, he was the DJ for our daughter Julia's Sweet 16 celebration at Larkfield Manor on January 18, 2026. Tommy is an incredibly talented, fun, and energetic DJ who knows exactly how to create an exciting atmosphere and keep a party going. He has a special ability to read the crowd and, in particular, knows what music to play to get teenagers up on the dance floor and having a great time. Julia's Sweet 16 was everything she hoped it would be, and Tommy played a huge role in making the celebration so memorable. What truly sets Tommy apart, however, is his attention to detail and exceptional communication. He was in constant communication with us for months leading up to Julia's party. He took the time to speak with Julia directly about the music she wanted to hear and asked her to create a list of songs for each person she mentioned during her candle-lighting ceremony. Once he had those lists, he seamlessly incorporated the songs into the celebration. Everything was handled flawlessly and exactly as Julia envisioned it. Tommy also goes far beyond what is expected of him. One perfect example occurred with the candle-lighting ceremony. The catering hall had failed to tell us that candles and candle holders were not provided. Tommy reminded us to check with the hall and make sure we purchased everything we needed. Thanks to his attentiveness, we avoided what could have been a very stressful and embarrassing situation on an important night. That is simply the kind of person Tommy is--he thinks ahead, pays attention to the little things, and genuinely wants his clients to have the best possible experience. Another benefit of working with Tommy is the variety of packages and options he offers. Clients can choose services such as photography and video, as well as additional features including TVs and special event lighting. He works with each client to create an experience that fits their individual needs and vision. Most importantly, Tommy treats his customers like family. Even after an event is over, he continues to stay in touch with us throughout the year, sending birthday and holiday messages and maintaining the relationship he has built with our family. That personal connection is one of the many reasons we have continued to choose Tommy for our events for more than 20 years. We wholeheartedly recommend Tommy Cerino and Needle in the Groove to anyone looking for a DJ who is talented, professional, dependable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making an event special. Tommy consistently goes above and beyond for his clients, and our family is grateful to have had him be a part of so many of our celebrations over the years. Georgia T.

The result was I ended up in a screaming match with the MC as he attempted to refuse the song. This song had no vulgarities or anything else about it that could be seen as offensive.
