The email address is teamunited1mma@gmail.com Chris invited me and my daughter for a free 2-1 lesson. The first week is free with this trial, you can attend any class as many times as you want. I ended up only going one class due to my work schedule conflict. Kimberly was our trainer who showed how to position, punch and kick. As a first timer, I had to think for a second which arm and leg to use with what position. We learned so much even on the first day and got the sense of what kickboxing is about. As a middle age woman, I don't feel empowered physically often anymore. But the day of the training, I felt empowered. My head was all focused on the movement, it helped forget all the noises. I think this is mentally really helpful. I ended up sweating all over in I believe about an hour. The gym is smaller but not many people so it's very comfortable. Chris and Kimberly are really friendly who make you feel at home. There were more teenagers and young adults but I didn't feel weird at all being there training. It seems everyone is focused on self. I definitely recommend the club for someone interested in martial arts at various levels. The club has a schedule Mon-Fri in the evening. The fee and the schedule included for reference.

The skill labs have a lot of repetition built in, and the teachers are always willing to help or provide tips. CPR, HIV training, and on site TB testing is also offered. And several of the fees (for CPR, back ground check, etc) are only accepted in cash.

When my peer and I reached out to Pat she seemed empathetic and apologetic, swearing that things would change. When I went back in today for our skills review we were treated worse than even before. This is unacceptable, and it is not normal for an educational setting. Cheryl had gone out of her way on multiple occasions trying to talk poorly about students to other staff and instructors, telling them not to help us, and adding that she hopes my classmate and I would fail our exams. There is no excuse for her behavior. Pat has been negligent of the situation. Completely aware, pretends to care, and never responds to the verbal harassment and complaints she has received about Cheryl.

Oak Harbor Intermediate School has a lovely field open to the public during non-school hours. The…read morefield is grass and has a gravel walking/running path/track around it. The shape of the path is not exactly an oval, more curved rectangular in shape. There are also a few areas open for play/that contain different exercise equipment. I would guess these are used in physical education (P.E.) classes as part of the school's offerings and potentially are available for use in home-schooling physical education curriculums based in the area. In my experience coming here, I have yet to find the field and track in heavy usage on a given visit. Personally, I like less traffic when walking/running a path/track. So, in that sense this is a perfect place to come early in the morning and get some distance in.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with 911 Driving School…read more I paid over $630 each for two of my kids to attend driving school, and for that kind of money, I expected to actually be able to schedule their required drives in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, there is little to no availability, and we have been placed on a cancellation list that never seems to move. One of my kids was able to complete one drive and thankfully has another scheduled toward the end of the month. My other child cannot even get her first drive until the end of the month. On top of that, I can't schedule anything for the following month because there is currently nothing available to book. It is incredibly frustrating to spend well over $1,200 for two students and then be told it could take months just to complete their drives because there aren't enough appointments available. If you are accepting this many students and charging families this much money, there should be adequate staffing and drive availability to accommodate them. At this point, I feel like I could have taught them myself and saved a significant amount of money. I understand that Washington State has requirements for teen drivers, but families shouldn't be paying hundreds of dollars per student only to discover after enrolling that scheduling the required drives is nearly impossible. To make matters worse, when I called for assistance, I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful rather than understanding or willing to help find a solution. For the amount of money families are paying, I expected much better availability, communication, and customer service. This experience has been extremely discouraging and frustrating.
