It was 8:30pm on a Friday and this was like the only place open near Cessna Stadium. I looked up the reviews beforehand like a typical yelper and was ready for the worst. But I have to say they were getting orders out quicker than expected. The food quality wasn't anything to write about but I wouldn't expect much from a fast food drive in. The area of town itself is not very attractive anyway. But because they got my 'fast food' to me fast I will give it 3 stars. These clowns charge for a cup of water. What in the world? I bought a burger and a blast and they wouldn't give me a cup of tap water without charging me extra? Poor class. Do not go here - I pulled up to get a sandwich on a Friday night at 11:17 and was told they were closed - the website States they close at 12 midnight. I will never go here again -what makes matters worse it's next door to the Police department - raises the question do they turn away those who are entrusted to protect us - I don't recommend this place to anyone ever! One star because only thing good is their drink!! Very slow! And ALWAYS screwing up orders! Even not going for 4months I decided to see if anything changed and NOPE still the same!! Mess up our order and they NEVER give sauce pack s even when we order on the app it specifically mentions the sauces we'd like and we got home no sauce at all! And we ordered dinner boxes and they left out the onion rings, On not one but BOTH orders I'm sorry but Sonics can never receive an order from me again! It's ridiculous!! This location has always been disappointing. There has been slow service every time I stop at this location, even when there are only one or two other cars there. Worth the extra minutes to drive down to 21st and Greenwich. MUCH better location and the employees at that location are always pleasant with much better service. read more

Pros- at least my food was fresh Cons- I have stopped by this sonic 4 different times in the last two weeks at varying times of the day and night. And every time there is an issue with my order. Either someone forgets my ranch, drink, or even food! Tonight I stopped in around 9:47 pm and ordered 6 wings w/ buffalo sauce, 3 cinnasnacks, and a med strawberry cheesecake shake order check#537, The car hop came out only with my shake, and then I asked where is my food? Then she returns with only my cinnasnacks! I drove up to the window and waited for a minute for someone to even look at the window. And then another girl hands me my wings. So here is the real problem I have. Not only have you messed up my order multiple times tonight, but no one even said sorry. The fact that no one pays attention and obviously doesn't care about their job is obvious. As a former sonic employee from 2005-2006 and restaurant manager, I am safe to say that with the exception of the kitchen everyone should be fired. This sonic has gone downhill fast. Each time I go here, the ice cream is out, a machine is broken, and the service is rude and slow 9 times out of 10. It wouldn't be so bad if they got the order right when, once in a blue moon, all the machines and items on the menu are in working order. If something on your menu is not available, put up a sign or cover it on the menus. It's not worth the short drive from my house to this location. I'd rather drive a few miles for good, consistent service. On the bright side, the manager is nice and understanding. read more

ZERO STAR! Absolutely one of the most pathetic places to go. We should haven't learned that their service always sucks at this location. Waited for 15 min before anyone answered the button to take our order. By the time we were asked what our order was "happy hour" was over... then they tried charging us regular price for the drinks until we complained about it... said all he could do was take off a dollar (that was totally fine) however, Waited another 10 min for drinks... Sonic has taken a nose-dive quality wise over the last few years - cheaper ingredients, dry tasteless chicken, food is cold by the time you get it. The stores usually have trash and food litter scattered around on the ground too. Not to mention expensive for fast food. Sonic used to be clean, fast and hot. My most recent visit will be my last. I got cold and burned "food" this time. I think they were onion rings at one point. Not a little over cooked, not well done...Burned. Black. Charred. Cremated. Pure carbon. Granted it must have taken special skill to burn something then serve it cold but somehow they did it. No more Sonic for me. Disgusting. read more

I enjoy sonic food, but they have delivered my order wrong three times now. Order your meal mustard and ketchup only and they gave a mayo burger with no mustard or ketchup (it was correct on the ticket). I took my sister to the Sonic on 21st street after she got off of work around 10pm on July 5th as a treat. First, we wait 5 mins. after pushing the order button and a young man comes out with an order for someone else. When I asked if he was the only one working, he stated no but that the speaker we was at hasn't worked for a while and he was going to put a sign on it soon. He told us to go to any other speaker and our order would be taken promptly. So I moved to another speaker and again hit the order button. After another 3 mins. of being ignored we left. I can't wait until they close down. Not sure how some people work there. Every time I go I have to send my slushy back 2-3 times. One day the girl told me at the window they put water in my slushy because it was to thick!!! WATER!! I didn't ask you to put water in my slushy. So I asked for a refund on everything and went to the Bel Aire location . I asked them do they normally put water in their slushy machine or customers slushy if they're to watery, she said no like I assumed and asked why the other store did it.
