Great service except for Mya every time we've gotten her. She's been rude, which normally I understand, working in a fast food restaurant sucks, and by god in VERO BEACH god bless everyone working here. But she has always been rude, logging off the mic before you finish your order, having an attitude about everything even when you're being calm and collective, and not to mention she doesn't even tell you when they're out of anything, such as pickles or sauce, and you find out after you get a special item. I am not a person who usually eats fast food, but I love their shakes. It's so conveniently located and appears to be very clean outside. There is a little to no contact with the people that work there because everything is done electronically and I guess I'm showing my age when I say I'm not a fan of that. Always a good choice especially for drinks. We stopped in to get some slushes on our way to have lunch. We were set on having tacos when I remembered they were here. They had half price drinks all day which was a plus. This location had no drive-thru so we parked and ordered. The process was easy and the employees were friendly. Horrible sonic, not even a holiday, but there was ONE carhop working, and we waited twenty minutes for a drink that had no ice, and let me remind you TWENTY minutes for one drink. Being from Oklahoma, I've been to countless Sonic locations (Sonic was started in Oklahoma). I've eaten at Sonics hundreds of times. This location hands down has the best customer service and most consistent experience of any Sonic I've ever been to. The food is always hot. The staff is friendly and ACTUALLY roller skates. I've also been to many Sonics in Texas (to further explain my credentials for rating this location 5 star). Keep up the great work Vero Beach Location . Wish I lived closer to it. read more

I always take the time to write a great review when the credit is due. I also take the time to write a complaint when it's NEEDED! We go to Sonic on US1 in Vero Beach 2-3 times a month. Either for a quick lunch or milkshake stop. Yesterday a friend & I took our children to get a treat. I've worked in the food industry for years and know the kind of fast pace environment this place is. What. A. Joke! We waited a bit to long I feel for simple corndogs and shakes. . .My milkshake was not made the way I ordered, when asked for a new one (not asking for free asking for discount at least) they wanted my old one, by now I've given to my 3y/o who wasnt pleased with her own drink.. they wanted me to take it out of her hands!!! this is the WORST sonic I have ever eaten at... once it was sold (I used to be a carhop there) it has been in a gradual decline since. I wasnt going to leave a review but something needs to happen. I'm about to find out who the hell bought this place and report them to sonic headquarters. i just placed an order for a SS breakfast burrito and a double cheeseburger through DoorDash.. they took forever to cook the food and when it arrived, my burgers were extremely hard and literally black... the burrito which is supposed to be an actual burrito is about 2 inches long... literally. I've patronized Sonic Drive-in's all over Florida, so it's no surprise that upon moving to Vero Beach several years ago, I was happy to learn a Sonic was in town. My favorite menu items were their cheeseburgers, malts and onion rings. Until recently I've had no issues with their food - after all, how hard is it to follow a franchise recipe? Several weeks ago, we stopped by and I ordered my usual cheeseburger. It tasted differently - and NOT for the better. Today we tried again, with the same results. Maybe Sonic has changed their cheeseburger recipes. If so, it is not a good move. You might want to change back. After all, if it wasn't broke, which it wasn't, why tamper with success. Sonic in Vero Beach is a long haul from our home - 12 miles. Considering the rising cost of gasoline, thats too far to drive for a malt or onion rings. Ugh! read more

I have eaten at this Sonic in the past and have always left happy. I don't know what changed but today was a total disaster and I will never visit there again. Our $22 worth of food was delivered. My burger was a soggy mess drowning in way too much mayo. The tots and french fries were cold. There was exactly ONE napkin provided. For the two of us! I asked the waitress for more napkins and hot fries. And then we waited. And waited some more. I finally got up and walked into the store to get some napkins myself. They handed me new fries and tots and they were also cold!!! I threw the remainder of my sandwich away. The buffalo boneless wings were awful. The sauce was terrible. My family and I had lunch there today 7/11/15. My niece ordered a watermelon smoothie with nerds. When we received the smoothie there was no nerds in the drink. When we asked the server for the nerds he said we would have to pay for extra nerds. My wife asked to speak to the manager, when he came out to talk to us he started yelling at us and he never would let us speak.
