We have been sitting at the window at sonic for 30 minutes and ordered 2 things. All the employees are sitting at the window just staring at us and it's ridiculous. This is not how it should be and it's honestly quite embarrassing for them. I have never in my life seen anything like it. It's like they're lazy and just sitting there making money. read more

This sonic has the worst service. I decided to give them another chance because it is convenient, but my chicken tenders are so overcooked I can't eat them. Don't waste your money!! read more

My experience at this location was absolutely abysmal. They had employees outside playing during hours of operations when they should be inside makung orders as they are paid to do. Then we placed an order for a coke, a coke float, and cookie dough blast. It took them 20 to 25 minutes to make them. Then wanted to get upset when we had to call them over the phone to have them bring our drinks to us. then when FINALLY they brought us our drinks. We had to ask them to get straws, then we had to ask for them to go get a spoon like little kids. This is highly unprofessional and should be a concern to the higher ups of this organization. I will no longer affiliate myself with this establishment until these issues improve. read more

One star is the least I can give. This place has gotten to where it absolutely sucks. Mobile ordering doesn't work half the time. Drive over here, push the button, wait 15 minutes, then get pissed and go to the drive thru. The speaker doesn't work there. I get told I'll have to go to a stall and order. I can't order if you don't answer the f**king button! Most of the workers act like they're doing you a favor by taking your money. I try to call and nobody answers. If the management of this place is worth a shit, they will read yelp reviews. Get your shit together and straighten this place up. I feel like I'm in Columbus. read more

service was terrible. when i pulled up to the window they took my money but had me sitting there for at least 10 minutes. i was given my food but they forgot to give my drinks. i then pulled around & went to a stall pressed my button .. they told me to hold on but never answered again. i pressed twice had to go back through the drive thru when the line was already long. stayed at sonic for 30 minutes max. it was the sonic across from walmart on greta ln. read more

You will sit here for 30 minutes and no one will ever answer. You can clearly see the workers inside talking and laughing to each other but never answer the call. Every time I come here it always takes them forever to answer or bring out your food. Would not recommend if you are in a time crunch. read more

The lady who took our order was extremely rude and laughed at us while we were ordering! It was very disrespectful and I am not pleased with this location at all! read more

I'm not sure why I come here. Precious 3 times, I left without ordering. No one ever answers when I pressed the call button. 2 times before that I tried to use their drive around and was told to go pull in. And of course they never answered. Today I've been here 4 minutes before they took the order. Then another 10 minutes before bringing it out. Although, I can clearly see 3 other women inside talking and doing nothing. What a disappointment. read more

This is the worst sonic location I've ever been to. The employees couldn't care less about how long it takes to get your order or if it's even correct. Worst fast food experience in Starkville. I have tried and tried to give them a chance but I think the management needs to change or something because I've been to a lot of sonic restaurants in the surrounding areas and this location is by far the worst. Do not recommend this location at all, in fact, I don't even go to this one anymore. Just my opinion though. read more

My family and I just visited your store in Starkville,MS at the Hwy.12 E. location. My niece ordered a cup of ice and was told the ice machine was broken but it wasn't. And she had a terrible attitude read more

Same old menu no matter where you go, the only difference is the quality of the soft drinks, it hit or miss at any of the locations.

I just love waiting 25 minutes for my drinks after ordering on the app. My slush didn't even taste like a slush. It was all melted and I couldn't taste anything but the syrup. Which means it had just been sitting there. And the place wasn't busy at all!! Maybe four cars. So my question is... are car hops specifically picking out the orders that have tips on them to bring them out? Because if so, that is the saddest thing I've heard. Tipping with cash still exists you know! And I was definitely planning on tipping with cash, but not when I have an experience like this one. read more

I tried the new smash burger and it was good!! Service was ok! No ambiance! I took it home and ate it!

Last night was the 3rd time in a little under a month that my wife have stopped at this location before or after work, each time they either have something missing that I specifically order either there or through the app or completely got our order wrong. Then it takes 20-30 minutes when it's only like 4 vehicles waiting, and when you call to check on your food through the speaker, they have an attitude, they bring the food to you and the ice is already melting in your drink and food is cold so it's been sitting a while. Terrible service, terrible food, terrible management, will not be coming back to this location until things change. read more

This is the ONLY fast food burger place that offers consistently fresh food in Starkville. I only eat burgers and dogs. Everything is prepared and cooked to order every time I go. While McD's has a 3% order happiness percentage rate, this Sonic has a 90% rate. For chicken, go to CFA 05MAY23 Only an IN N' OUT burger can do a 100% and get 5 stars read more

It was a little slow today. Took a while to get food. Could be decorated better. Workers should be on skates more.

to have to wait 15 minutes on a kids meal and a milkshake is completely bull. Newsflash, geniuses. when you have windows in the store, so we can see when you're just standing around playing and talking. The GM needs to fix this. it's 7pm, it's not like we showed up 10 min prior to close.. read more

this restaurant is absolutely ridiculous my family order two drinks and a burger and it took 20 minutes to deliever and the icecream was melted. I don't recommend this sonic to anyone. read more

This has to be the worst Sonic I have ever been to. The staff are rude and don't seem to have any sense of urgency. I have been many times and have ordered just a drink or shake (things that should be very quick and easy) and my order either takes 20-30 minutes to get to me OR they forget about it entirely. I have chosen to visit this particular location because it is closer to where I work and live and, each time I go back, my experience is worse. Therefore, I now choose to drive further down and visit the other Starkville Sonic location, which is an entirely different experience! read more

I used the Sonic app and ordered the BBQ chips flavored tots. I selected Ranch in the app as a condiment. The carhop said since I didn't pay for the ranch, I don't get it. I used the app that Sonic Corporation developed. If the app would have charged me, I would have been okay. I used the app since I didn't have cash. I spoke to the manager, and they said the same thing as the carhop. They refused to give it to me, even though it was on my order. read more

Awful service. A manager came out with my order (which consisted of one order of cheese sticks) and he came out with CHICKEN NUGGETS. This ugly dude (see photo of Delmar from the movie "Oh Brother Where art Thou?") proceeded to spit on the food and never brought me my change. Will never go back. read more

Service sucks, sat here for 30 minutes trying to get a single burrito. 0/10 do not recommend

Waited for 20 minutes for two cheeseburgers and tots and they still did not bring it out. I even buzzed them again to see if they forgot my order because it went of the screen and said it was delivered. Our food was brought out 25 minutes after ordering, burgers were burnt, drinks were wrong, and had small instead of medium tots. I asked for ketchup. There was none. Asked for added pickles on one of the burgers. Got two pickle chips the size of a dime. This is the absolute worst sonic experience I have ever had. I don't understand how they stay in business. read more

If giving these people 0 stars was possible I would. I wrote a review 5 months ago on their google page saying how rude and awful these servers are and that I wouldn't be back... I chose to be nice and give them one more go. I spent an extra dollar or so to get extreme tots (they have chili, cheese, jalapeños, onions and ranch) I got this crap. It looks like puke. If I wanted chili cheese tots I would have asked for them..... THIS PLACE CAN NOT GET AN ORDER RIGHT TO SAVE THEIR LIVES! They seriously need to be shut down. Everyone that works there is horrible and mean and they have NEVER gotten my whole order correct. EVER. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Starkville, Mississippi

Pulled in a stall to be told we are drive Thru only at 8pm on a Saturday night??? Second one in line was a 29 min wait worst Sonic ever!!

I pulled into a stall at 3pm hit the button of course it usually takes a while for them to answer. Then they ask if I'm picking up a drive through order and I said no just wanted to order a drink and that was it she just cut me off. Last time I was there they cut me off and had to go through the whole process again. When you think this sonic cat get worse it dose. That was their last chance with me I'll drive to Eupora to sonic before I go there again. read more

Problem every time! Every time I come to this sonic my order is messed up. If I had to repeat it 3 times, there is no reason any mistakes should be made! Easy ice is not so hard to understand! Why do I ask for this every time and yet my cup is always so full of ice?! If I'm paying $2 for a larger drink, it is due to the fact that I'm thirsty and want more liquid not ice! Me and my mother went here once and had to go back because she realized she didn't get any of her change! Save your time and frustrations and go to the other sonic here! read more

Maybe the worst service I've ever had. My food was cold and I repeatedly asked for ketchup, which they never brought. Took more then 30 minutes to get a milkshake. Just go to Cookout, you won't regret it. read more

I don't know what others' experiences have been here, but I have received terrible service on almost every trip to this Sonic location. The drive-through is positively atrocious, with workers making you wait very long periods of time before you can order, and with absent-minded mistakes made all over the place when (if) they finally hand you your food bag (often with missing items, etc). The management needs to straighten this place out. read more

My friends and I went there last night to get some food. The food came out at a reasonable speed. However when my order came out she said the right order on the ticket and the same price when I was making the order so I paid. Super sweet worker. However half the order was wrong when we opened it. My friend whos half was wrong didn't really care so we let it go and ate. It was kinda busy and we thought it was fine. However, while sitting out there eat about 20 or so minutes goes by and the same carhop comes out and restates the order asking us if we got our food. It was a little confusing and we felt bad that they made the food all over again but what could we do. We already had finished the first order she brought out. There was another carhop however who was really rude when we asked for an extra thing of honeymustered which is why the rating is average. read more

The WORST Sonic I've ever been to. How do you screw up a shake? That's what they're best known for! It took two tries to get it right. I won't be back to this one, no doubt. Very disappointed. read more

i waited 30 minutes on my order for a large dr pepper before i asked about it again and they were very rude. i also tried to order a frito chili wrap that i get all the time and they said they stopped selling those a long time ago but i got one three days before!! ridiculous read more

Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru (with only 2 other cars) at 11PM to get a warm milkshake and a cold hot dog.

Service has been steadily declining over the last year. Actually drove off today without receiving my order, after cars that arrived after me received their orders. Workers have gotten lazy with no sense of urgency or concept of fast food. I'm a frustrated and disappointed local at best with this location. read more
