Pubes in food and very disrespectful and dirty inside and had to go back 3 times because they can't get simple order right

Got order wrong for second time. Paid for med cheddar peppers, got small. Got frito pie wrap, maybe a tablespoon worth of food inside a tortilla and that's being generous. Jr burger didn't have jalapeño I added and looked like it was stepped on ‍. Get better sonic read more

I travel a lot and I love sonic drinks. I placed my order on the app and when I got there to pick my order up I was told they don not have a public restroom. I had to go find another one while I was waiting on my order. If you can not let paying customers use your restrooms I will not be back. The food was just ok nothing to brag about. read more

It was alright service a little slow.. my order is always wrong and I've never had a restaurant fast food place tell me I'm to go get change and come back to pay for my meal.. yes I'm sure I will thanks have a great one read more

On May 27, 2025 I pulled into sonic at 9:40 in the evening and order two number five hamburgers. Which includes in the sandwich to meat, two cheese, lettuce, mayo, and two buns. The meat on the hamburgers was so old it probably had set out for hours. I have never had a hamburger anywhere in any restaurant that was obviously so old that the edges all the way around an inch Around was dark and hard. I could've thrown it like a frisbee. And there was absolutely no bacon on it and it was supposed to come with bacon. Undoubtedly, that was the worst hamburgers that I have ever received probably in 20 years in any restaurant Normally sonic is my go to hamburger because they are fresh and tasty and I eat them quite often. But the Sonic in Monaghan, Texas is the worst in the nation. I called Cody who is the manager back and ask him to replace the hamburgers. He would not bring them even a mile away at my hotel but told me to just contact corporate. Actually, I wouldn't even give this restaurant a half star, but there was no option to give a half star. Somebody needs to get fired and be replaced with someone who cares about their customers and the quality of food. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Monahans, Texas

Watched 6 sonic employees sit at an outside bench at 12:30 and eat lunch. When I pulled in to make an order I was told they were not taking orders. Watched 6 different cars pull in and try to make an order and were turned away. BAD BUSINESS read more

Asked for extra candy in my slush and felt like I got less than what they put in there normally .. and it took fooooreveeerrrr to come out .

I will not recommend them or will never support them in any way again. read more

Absolutely the worst Sonic I have eaten at. They were out of large cups, footlong hotdog buns and the coke was flat and had no carbonation. I ordered my food and the fries came out cold, like they had been in a refrigerator. Instead of a footlong hotdog bun they used 2 six inch buns. Not sure how this place stays in business, other than it's an oilfield town. read more

This Sonic was once the best Sonic across the nation around 1999, but now its not as quick nor friendly. The food is the same, just takes a bit longer to prepare and arrive to your vehicle. It's a hit or miss on catching a polite employee. Beware on eating here at night or on a weekend, it's part of the drag and there is constantly cars rotating through the parking lot and kids too! Still can't beat they're drink specials or the Tuesday after 5 deal! read more

The food here is consistent and the carhops are great, but the service time is tricky to predict. Sometimes your order is out right away and sometimes it takes way too long. There's no real reason to it, I just never know what to expect. I use the app for great deals like all day happy hour. read more

Worst sonic I've ever been to you. Their portions are ridiculous where it should be the same everywhere. It takes them 30 minutes sometimes to answer the call button read more

This sonic is horrible; every time we have been here out order has been completely mixed up. Our waiter runs off before we could ask for sauces, and they make a huge deal when they have to run back inside to grab them. They forget straws and forks and they don't have a very nice staff. read more

The service was fine and everything was going so good until I took a bite of a boneless wing and a piece of chain came out! So freaking nasty! read more

Horrible service! Food is stale! One of their employees was speeding through the drive. When I confronted him about the potential for a little kid running out he replied there aren't any kids. I told him his life would be ruined if he had ran over a child. Our conversation deteriorated quickly and he ended the conversation with I'll "F***you up" and walked off. I took a pic of his license plate if you are interested. read more

Disappointed in your non pickle juice pickle juice slush. There's nothing pickle about it. Yall should just name it pickle colored sweet stuff. read more

Ordered a mini popcorn chicken and a small popcorn chicken. Both were the exact same size and we paid $2 more for the small? Also the car hope was extremely unfriendly. No straw, no marinara which was requested specifically, and the cheese fries were cold and DISGUISTING! The manager came out and didn't help at all. Just asked if we wanted to take the chicken off and give them back to her. What the hell. Ew. Please don't go here. Nasty food and bad service. read more

This location is a joke. They were too illiterate to even take an order. also why in the heck don't they have pickle-o's.

The reasons for my 3 stars is because the food was fresh and the employees had good customer service. They also forgot to give me a fork/spoon for my chili cheese fries. They also forgot my cheese for my pretzel twist but other then that the food was good. read more

This has to be the absolute worst Sonic in the world! The food is old and stale the service is slow slow slow. The car hops are rude and surly and when you ask to speak to the manager all you get is attitude. Every time I go there no mater how many times you remind them while you wait forever for your order they still give you the wrong stuff. It's like they don't bother to listen to your order because they going to give you what they want you to have. I strongly erge you to avoid this sewer as if they all have the Corona virus! I wish I knew who the owner was, but he probably would defend his worthless staff even tho they should all be fired and the place razed for a parking lot. read more

My daughter and I were traveling from Dallas to Phoenix, late in the day we got hungry, saw the Sonic sign and knew were going to have a good hamburger and fries. Not.......the french fires were warm and the one I ate tasted like it was not fresh(kind of spongy), asked the server to pleaser bring me a bag of hot fries, 4 minutes later she comes back with the fries, no difference, still lukwarm and old tasting, the hamburger also was not up to our expectations of a great hamburger. So disappointing read more

Got a hair on my burger ! Fast service but the food wasn't done right. The girl gave me my order and then said everything should be right I don't know I didn't check the order. read more

Rude, extremely slow, food was cold and tasted old, and got the order wrong. This location is very poorly operated. We ordered several Route 44's and it wasn't until we left and looked in the bag that they gave us all straws for small drinks. I do not recommend eating at this location. read more

Food was downright awful, tasted old and cold... I know you can't get good food in monahans but come on try at least!

Worst sonic I have ever been to. Slow service and they forgot a drink. When they did bring out the blue coconut cream slush it didn't taste like coconut or ice cream and the syrup tasted like it had been watered down with tap water. On road trip and shouldn't have stopped. read more

The lady that took our order was so rude! I simply asked what came on a burger and she replied very mean meat and a bun. We repeated it what actually comes on it and she yelled a meat and bun. We went to Sonic tonight to get a blast and a shake. There's a sign showing they are half price. When we didn't get charged half price the "manager" named Isaac came out and was very argumentative with me. When I tried to express my concern about heir sings being misleading and asked if he would honor it, he told me no and continued to be rude and ugly. I told him I would call someone above him, he told me "Go ahead. Who are you going to call?" He argued a little more and I told him I was going to argue with him about it. He then sent out the GM who expressed she started in July. I told her that he was very rude and I didn't feel like fighting with him. She said she would talk to him and gave us the ice cream for free. As a customer, I have never been talked to or treated so rudely before. And that is saying a lot. I suggest just going up the street to Dairy Queen or any where else but here. Isaac, please take some anger management and customer service classes because you fail at both right now. read more
