I'll always have memories of roller skates, juke boxes, and drive-ins, but this place needs to get back to the future. The speaker box is inaudible. All I heard was blah blah blah blah, and all I understood was the total. There's no electronic board that shows your order, unheard of in modern times. The drive thru line moved slower than a snail even though there were only two cars ahead of us, and there was only one employee visible inside. Does the drive thru person also make the food? I certainly hope not. The one positive is that there is a wide variety of hot dogs, and the one I got was good. Today me and my girl ate at Sonic for our first time in a couple of years. We were both very disappointed by being over charged. And our food was luke warm and not worth the wait. My girlfriend wanted to upgrade her side order of tots to chili cheese tots. They charged her an extra $3.00. Instead of upgrading they charged us for a separate order because she got regular tots with her meal and a separate chili cheese tots. When she tried to explain it to the waitress she simply said that's how they do it. read more
