My family and I stopped by the Sonic on Jeronimo, and we had a great experience. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything we ordered was made correctly. The burgers were delicious, the tots were crispy, and the drinks were ice cold. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though they were busy. We didn't have to wait too long, and the classic drive-in experience is always fun for the kids. This was the best drive thru experience I've had in a long time. Kyler was so delightful over the intercom and Brianna was so sweet as she handed us our refreshers. The berry citrus refresher is the perfect amount of tart and sweet. The overall experience took around less than two minutes as I was able to drive right up and our drinks were ready. It's very hit or miss on what kind of service I'm gonna get and today it just wasn't great. Paying $25 for four drinks and then waiting 20 minutes for them, only to find out that they aren't mixed correctly and melted, is a disappointment to say the least. Major shrinkflation alert. We would come here every few months for ice cream. Today was the last time. We used to order a mini sonic blast for I believe $4.19. A pretty good deal. Decent size styrofoam classic sonic cup full of ice cream and whipped cream over the top. Always stayed thick and felt like a good dessert option. Suddenly they have tiny clear plastic cups which appear to be half the amount than old cups and now they charge $5.29. This tiny cup does not keep the ice cream cold so within two minutes it's pretty much melted ice cream. Thinner than a milk shake. I asked the cashier literally "what is this" "what is this cup" and she said "I don't know that's how they come now." Oh well, not a big loss, bye Sonic. Not worth over $6 after tax. I placed an order through the app at 6:09 PM and parked in Stall 8. I checked in immediately, and the app indicated my order would be ready at 6:15 PM. By 6:25 PM, I still had not received my food, so I pressed the call button to ask about the status of my order. The employee who responded told me there was only one cook working that day and assured me the food would be out shortly. At 6:29 PM, Juan delivered the order. Unfortunately, they had given my food to the wrong vehicle and brought me someone else's order instead. When I pointed out the mistake, Juan went to the other vehicle and asked the customer to return the food to the bag. I specifically asked whether the other customer had opened the bag, and Juan told me they had not. I then asked to speak with a manager. Juan informed me that they were the manager. I requested a refund and was told that refunds could only be processed online. Juan then walked away without offering any additional assistance. When we finally opened the order, we discovered that the marinara sauce packet had leaked inside the bag. In addition, the food was only warm rather than hot. I attempted to contact the supervisor using the number printed on the receipt (949-569-4618), but the number was disconnected. I ordered through the app... an iced tea and the new groovy fries and pulled into this sonic only to find that FOUR of the drive in stalls had other people's orders still on the screens... they seemed like they were just frozen. I was in a rush and didn't want to get out of my car, so instead I went through the drive through and told them that I had a mobile order and the stalls were out of order. I had to wait 20 mins in the drive through just to get my tea and fries and luckily I asked for the groovy sauce once I got to the window because I realized they didn't put any in the bag despite me ordering the grooves sauce and a side of signature sauce. Honestly, the groovy sauce wasn't that great to me anyway, I definitely preferred the signature sauce. I just couldn't believe that the 3 cars ahead of my took SO LONG and they definitely could have had someone come out and give me my food or had the other cars pull into a stall to deliver. Sonic is an institution, but this is honestly the most inconsistent with experience. Sometimes I can't blame the workers since they could get inundated with orders, but it's really just how this entire location is run that baffles me. To start, the parking bays being right in the middle of the drive thru lane is such a dangerous situation. While I've personally always been fine, you can absolutely get trapped in your parking spot if the drive thru lane is too long. The app experience isn't consistent. When it's easy, it's absolutely easy, since you'll roll up into a parking bay, input the number into your app, and they'll be right out with your order. The problem is when they aren't right out with your order, in which case you'll just end up being frustrated with no clear direction of what to do. Usually that means I have to go through the drive thru, where they may be even more confused, and an even longer wait for the melting ice in my drink. Yet you just put up with it for your cherry limeade. TIP: Avoid late nights here but probably just right before the rush is the sweet spot. read more

They'd got just about anything you need to cool off on a hot day, especially the icy slushes. There's plenty of ice cream oriented Menu items as well as shakes. It's been a while since I've gotten a food item here, but I remember it being good. Service is very quick through the drive-through your order is ready as soon as you pull up and they do a good job of moving everybody along.
