Today my experience was beyond exceptional-I needed to buy one Stella Artois for a friend who is on hospice (in his 90's) that requested one of his favorite beers and a small pack of pretzels for the game. I only needed one beer and Meier's was the only place in town willing to sell one. When I came in, the owner gifted me the beer. Businesses with service, heart and pure human connection like this are fewer by the day. We've lost so many wonderful establishments in this town with great service over the last decade...Ideal Grocery, The Moose's Tooth, Downtown Shoe and Boot Repair, Nelson Cleaners, and Art on Display to name a few. Cool looking t-shirts make this brewery even cooler! The wheat beer is great! Empyrean distributes beer east of Lincoln which is a plus for everyone that lives east of there. They don't distribute west of Lincoln and especially in nearby Colorado because they feel that the competition is too tough in that brewing state.
