As soon as we stepped inside, you could smell the sweetness of the ice cream, waffle cones, and all the candy displayed around the shop! While we were checking out the ice cream options, we were greeted and asked what we'd like. We both went with one scoop: my wife chose the Michigan Pothole, which was super chocolatey and loaded with tasty chocolate bits, and I got the butter pecan in a waffle cone--and wow, that was a huge scoop! Both ice creams were creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. We also picked up a Sky Bar, which is such a cool candy bar with four different fillings in one! We'll definitely be back to try more flavors and other goodies. Highly recommend!

Best Bites - Cool Down at Spoon It While out shopping with…read moremy grandkids on a typical hot Texas day, one of them asked for frozen yogurt. I told them, "I know just the place!" About a month ago, Spoon It opened its doors at 7515 Hwy 105 near Major Drive, and it's already become a favorite spot for a cool, creamy treat. Calling it "cute" is an understatement--it gives off real tropical vibes! The checkout counter and yogurt machine stations are designed like tiki huts, complete with bamboo and thatched roofs. It's festive, fun, and the perfect escape from the heat. Their variety of frozen yogurt is impressive, with about 12 different flavors to choose from--including two sugar-free options. One granddaughter chose a swirl of pistachio, cheesecake, and yellow cake batter yogurt, and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple. The other went with dreamsicle and cheesecake yogurt, finished off with little cheesecake squares for extra indulgence. And oh--did I mention their topping bar? It's vast! If you can think of it, they probably have it. As for me, I had a small serving of sugar-free strawberry yogurt topped with fresh strawberries. Light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--I'd definitely order it again. With summer temperatures climbing, I encourage you to stop by Spoon It on Hwy 105. The yogurt is top-notch, the customer service is exceptional, and the vibe is just plain fun. Bring your kids or grandkids--they'll love it. Ladies, after your next girlfriend's luncheon, treat yourself to something sweet. Guys, take your date--she'll love it too. And when you go, be sure to tell them you saw it on Best Bites! And they were out of our 2 favorite ice creams, so we were going to get substitutes - $50 worth of ice cream to take home - all of which we left without purchasing (with mixins so hopefully the staff likes the flavors - sinful to waste all that). The manager talked to me personally on the employee's cell phone (super unprofessional) just to confirm that policy. Worst manager I've ever heard of in the food industry and I do hope he is out of a job soon - for the sake of the owners of this place. We are regulars and now not only will we never be back, I will be sure to share how horribly they treat their customers the next time anyone mentions the place. Such a shame since they are the only one in town.
