We pulled up to the order slot. We waited and waited and ... waited. 10 mins. We figured they were busy. A woman comes on, seems like she's drunk, had to repeat order FOUR times. She still couldn't repeat it back. We wait for almost 20 minutes, watching a girl carry a tray back and forth, trying to find who the food she was carrying belonged to. This SONIC does not get enough love. When you decide to go to a SONIC you know you are choosing fast food. And they make pretty good fast food. They need more workers but so does every other business in town. The workers that they do have are pleasant. And I walked around this time to look and take pictures and it was clean. It looked to me like all of the ordering stalls were working. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five... I asked for easy ice and easy cherry flavoring. I want to make my order tricky so I can see how they do. However there is a ton of ice and too much cherry flavoring for my taste. read more

I sure wish I had checked these reviews before I went to the Sonic on Wesley Street in Greenville, TX. The young man that waited on me was very nice. Unfortunately, the food was NOT! I sent back my tater tots 2 times!!! Evidently, these folks cannot cook decent food!!! They don't understand plain English! I specifically ordered crispy tater tots. I even listened as the young man told the cook to make my tots, extra crispy!!! What a waste of $3.13. Thankfully, that's all I spent!!! When they brought out their last try at making tater tots, the container was full of grease!!! And I could already tell the tots weren't done!!! It's really stupid to do the same thing over and over and expect different results!!! When I poured my tots in my chicken box, oil went all down the side of the box!!! Way to go people!!! Okay so I have NEVER left this bad of a review anywhere - but this location deserves a huge warning. This is the absolute worst location I have ever been to in my life. I grew up in the Greenville area and I don't believe it has always been this bad, but over the past couple of years the food and service has been terrible. Today, despite my bad experiences with this location my daughter and I decided to stop by because we were craving it and the place was basically empty (now I can see why!) the lady that answered our button and attempted to take our order was so belligerent and rude, it was unbelievable. She literally was huffy and puffy and rudely screamed into the speaker multiple times. I worked in fast food 5+ years and never treated anyone that way, regardless of what the customer was asking for - and I literally was smiling and incredibly nice the entire time I was ordering. The lady cut me off last minute before I finished ordering and told me my total, so we drove away and went to the Commerce Sonic location instead and had the BEST experience as always. 2/22/23 10:40, ordered a number 12 5 piece tender with tots, it usually comes in a box with bread and gravy but she literally gave me only tenders and tots.... tender were gave to me in a small bag and tater tot's just tossed in with the bag all over the place with barely any condiments, i understand you close in 20-10 minutes but don't try to talk to me saying "we close in 10 minutes" i worked at a take 5 ( not in greenville ) at customers came in 10 minutes till closing. We have lived in Greenville for almost 5 years and we have never had any issues with Sonic until this past week and today. Last week we go through the drive thru to order a Medium Strawberry Lemonade and a pretzel twist with cheese. We pull up to the window and they had no idea what we ordered and we told the lady what we ordered and she said oh okay and walked off, didn't take a payment or fixed anything. We waited for 10 minutes and the same lady walked out the door to serve another car so we drove off. Today we pull up and it's busy so we figured it was going to be a wait, which is fine. When we start ordering my wife starts and orders a corn dog and a strawberry lemonade, then the lady says is that it and my wife says one second then she just gives us a total and stops talking to us. We drove off because that was so rude. We understand sonic gets busy and staff gets overwhelmed especially around 2-4 with happy hour...we have worked in fast food industry before for 10+ years. So we are patient to an extent, y'all have hired people who are so disrespectful and rude. Y'all need to get management to fix this or I need to contact someone higher. We will wait 3 months before going back to see if anything has changed and if not NEVER again. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

After I placed my order and tried to pay with my gift card, my server, Cody, took both my gift card and debit card inside. He returned only my debit card and told me that my gift card had no balance on it. However, when I checked the receipt, I saw that only my debit card was charged and not the gift card. I was confused as to why Cody lied about the gift card. So, my husband went inside and politely asked for the gift card back, knowing it had money on it. The service was exceptionally poor. While ordering I was cut off and not allowed to finish my order. After restating my full order, the cashier still got my burger order wrong. I corrected them once again but was still disappointed when my burger came back completely wrong and cold. Furthermore, we didn't receive our drinks or fries, until we asked twice for them. I think I'm done with Sonic and All fast food places that pre cook their burger patties and then put them in some kind of gross meat drawer where are the patties get cold, hard, and dry. Tater tots were way overcooked and you could tell that the grease they were cooking them in was very old because the tots tasted like charcoal. I don't blame the workers there. This place is falling apart. It's almost worth the drive to go to the Sonic in Royse City or Commerce. In Commerce the food tastes the same every time you go.
