We ordered the classic sonic burger, a double smashed burger, and a sad dry chicken sandwich. Seems like the chicken patty was just sitting out for a while after being fried. I know you wouldnt get what they advertise on the site but this chicken sandwich was just bad read more

the 7 buck meal deal is awesome -- fresh cooked - really good deal , sonic has stepped up

We pulled up to the order slot. We waited and waited and ... waited. 10 mins. We figured they were busy. A woman comes on, seems like she's drunk, had to repeat order FOUR times. She still couldn't repeat it back. We wait for almost 20 minutes, watching a girl carry a tray back and forth, trying to find who the food she was carrying belonged to. We finally left after 20 minutes ... without our food. read more

Rude. I pulled up to the drive thru while my friend was finishing her mobile order , and I said can they please give us one second , and it was about 20 seconds after we were there in drive thru and sounded very irritated " instead of waiting in line you can pull up to a stall ." need nicer employees. read more

This SONIC does not get enough love. When you decide to go to a SONIC you know you are choosing fast food. And they make pretty good fast food. They need more workers but so does every other business in town. The workers that they do have are pleasant. And I walked around this time to look and take pictures and it was clean. It looked to me like all of the ordering stalls were working. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five... I asked for easy ice and easy cherry flavoring. I want to make my order tricky so I can see how they do. However there is a ton of ice and too much cherry flavoring for my taste. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Medium chocolate milkshake - Burgers Near Me - Greenville, Texas

Okay so I have NEVER left this bad of a review anywhere - but this location deserves a huge warning. This is the absolute worst location I have ever been to in my life. I grew up in the Greenville area and I don't believe it has always been this bad, but over the past couple of years the food and service has been terrible. Today, despite my bad experiences with this location my daughter and I decided to stop by because we were craving it and the place was basically empty (now I can see why!) the lady that answered our button and attempted to take our order was so belligerent and rude, it was unbelievable. She literally was huffy and puffy and rudely screamed into the speaker multiple times. I worked in fast food 5+ years and never treated anyone that way, regardless of what the customer was asking for - and I literally was smiling and incredibly nice the entire time I was ordering. The lady cut me off last minute before I finished ordering and told me my total, so we drove away and went to the Commerce Sonic location instead and had the BEST experience as always. Do not go here, literally go anywhere else and you'll be happier with the food, service, and cleanliness. This place is a lost cause at this point! read more

I sure wish I had checked these reviews before I went to the Sonic on Wesley Street in Greenville, TX. The young man that waited on me was very nice. Unfortunately, the food was NOT! I sent back my tater tots 2 times!!! Evidently, these folks cannot cook decent food!!! They don't understand plain English! I specifically ordered crispy tater tots. I even listened as the young man told the cook to make my tots, extra crispy!!! What a waste of $3.13. Thankfully, that's all I spent!!! When they brought out their last try at making tater tots, the container was full of grease!!! And I could already tell the tots weren't done!!! It's really stupid to do the same thing over and over and expect different results!!! When I poured my tots in my chicken box, oil went all down the side of the box!!! Way to go people!!! If you can't cook any better than that, you shouldn't even be open!!! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BY GOING TO THIS PLACE!!! read more

As someone who has to DoorDash to make extra money I absolutely HATE when people order from Sonic for 3 reasons 1. They never have it ready on time 2. It takes forever to get help 3. The order is ALWAYS WRONG read more

Rude order taker. Couldn't understand her because the speakers kept cutting out. Came out to the car and very rudely took our order. Took our order right there, AND STILL GOT IT WRONG!!!!! On purpose? Probably so. Food was bad. Burger was dry and the buns were stale. The cheese fries we did not order but paid extra for were terrible. Fries with two slices of American cheese melted on them. Really Sonic? Will not ever return here, would not ever hire any of the people we interacted it read more

2/22/23 10:40, ordered a number 12 5 piece tender with tots, it usually comes in a box with bread and gravy but she literally gave me only tenders and tots.... tender were gave to me in a small bag and tater tot's just tossed in with the bag all over the place with barely any condiments, i understand you close in 20-10 minutes but don't try to talk to me saying "we close in 10 minutes" i worked at a take 5 ( not in greenville ) at customers came in 10 minutes till closing. Yeah it sucks changing motor OIL at the last second and topping off ALL fluids but just putting food in a box is not hard to do. p.s only got a 4 piece and paid the full price for it. Never coming here again read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Greenville, Texas

We have lived in Greenville for almost 5 years and we have never had any issues with Sonic until this past week and today. Last week we go through the drive thru to order a Medium Strawberry Lemonade and a pretzel twist with cheese. We pull up to the window and they had no idea what we ordered and we told the lady what we ordered and she said oh okay and walked off, didn't take a payment or fixed anything. We waited for 10 minutes and the same lady walked out the door to serve another car so we drove off. Today we pull up and it's busy so we figured it was going to be a wait, which is fine. When we start ordering my wife starts and orders a corn dog and a strawberry lemonade, then the lady says is that it and my wife says one second then she just gives us a total and stops talking to us. We drove off because that was so rude. We understand sonic gets busy and staff gets overwhelmed especially around 2-4 with happy hour...we have worked in fast food industry before for 10+ years. So we are patient to an extent, y'all have hired people who are so disrespectful and rude. Y'all need to get management to fix this or I need to contact someone higher. We will wait 3 months before going back to see if anything has changed and if not NEVER again. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

After I placed my order and tried to pay with my gift card, my server, Cody, took both my gift card and debit card inside. He returned only my debit card and told me that my gift card had no balance on it. However, when I checked the receipt, I saw that only my debit card was charged and not the gift card. I was confused as to why Cody lied about the gift card. So, my husband went inside and politely asked for the gift card back, knowing it had money on it. Cody pulled the gift card from his pocket, proving he was trying to pocket the gift card. I am disappointed and do not understand why an employee would lie to a customer over a gift card. read more

The lady who took my order was very rude and kept raising her voice.. The food was good tho.

Ordered through their new app which allows for tipping. Finally. Took them way to long to figure out how to allow customers to tip without using cash. Pulled into stall and checked-in through the app. Another customer pulled in beside me. Placed her order the regular way. I pre-ordered 2 chili-cheese coneys. She got her order in a few minutes. I waited another 15 minutes for mine that was pre-ordered before I got there. That just doesn't even make sense. They brought my order out. No bag and no napkins for 2 chili-cheese dogs. That doesn't make sense either. They've got some work to do. read more

for some reason the food tonight is awful and they messed up my order tonight. I ordered a large onion rings and they only gave me not even half of a large onion rings. and I ordered a footlong coney with onions and they didn't put any onions on the footlong coney and only a small thing of chili and cheese. this is probably one of the worst Sonic's that I have ordered food at. read more

It is extremely irritating to order online with the app and you get home and your order is wrong. How damn hard is it to fix a burger the right way a customer requested? I don't think no tomatoes and no ketchup is that complicated. Ever thought someone might be allergic to something and that is why they said leave it off?? Either they are incompetent or just don't care! Either way would you like to pay for food you cannot eat. And of course no one answers the phone so only choice is to drive back there. Which really irritates me! Not saying all Sonics suck but the one in Greenville has lost my business. Tired of paying for food that is wrong!!! read more

Do better. Strawberry Sweet tea was literally water with strawberry pieces, missed one of drinks completely no cheese on our sandwiches and we waited over 30 minutes for someone to even answer the button, an additional 30 for our food to come out. Got to say im highly disappointed in sonic because of this location specifically. Its a let down every visit despite giving them the benefit of the doubt each time. Just do better. read more

The service was exceptionally poor. While ordering I was cut off and not allowed to finish my order. After restating my full order, the cashier still got my burger order wrong. I corrected them once again but was still disappointed when my burger came back completely wrong and cold. Furthermore, we didn't receive our drinks or fries, until we asked twice for them. I never did receive a fork to eat my chili fries. I wish I went to panda express since there the employees listen, the food is good, and my order is right by at least the third attempt. read more

Ordered a 5 piece chicken strip dinner and got 5 tots, a dry piece of bread, a day old onion ring, and 5 of the most pitiful chicken jerky nuggets i have ever seen in my life for 12 bucks. Had to make a sandwich after that awful and overpriced snack. Save yourself some time and money and just go to DQ where they actually serve food. read more

This Sonic is terrible, they need to get a new manager and actually train their employees, because they don't even know how to make drinks, which is pretty bad considering it's a SONIC. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

We went for a late dinner and ordered 2 cheeseburger meals. Waited about 20 minutes for our food with no other customers present. Sadly the burgers and tots were cold and very clearly old and stale. The patties were blackened and tough. I'm generally not someone to complain about fast food (because low wages + long hours) but for $20, I would expect food that was made at least in the past hour. I expect the bare minimum and yet Sonic manages to disappoint every time. read more

The person taking orders in drive-through only partially took order. We waited for her to complete order but after waiting 5 min. Decided to go to pick up window. We just left... read more

I think I'm done with Sonic and All fast food places that pre cook their burger patties and then put them in some kind of gross meat drawer where are the patties get cold, hard, and dry. Tater tots were way overcooked and you could tell that the grease they were cooking them in was very old because the tots tasted like charcoal. I don't blame the workers there. They're doing the best they can do with crappy conditions. read more

I ordered at about 1:30 in the afternoon, the hot dogs were on special when ordered online. i ordered 2 and a pretzel with tots. i picked them up, (always have trouble with the app when i get there) tasting the tots they were lukewarm at best along with pretzel. cheese sauce was forgotten again, 3rd time this has happened, along with some of the ketchup i requested. the hot dogs were cold, wondering if they were actually cooked, cheese on them barely melted. advice is to always check for everything before you leave if you go there. read more

This was by far the worst experience of any sonic I've ever been too. Horrible service. I placed a Mobil order and went to drive thru. I got offered 5 wrong drinks and waited 20 minutes while other cars behind me had to go around me and were getting food and drink before me. The girls weren't rude just incompetent. The manager was very rude and had an "I don't care" attitude like I was wasting her time just trying to get a simple drink order. read more

Horrible...... service! Waited at drive through 20 minutes.... Order wrong. This has become typical! Mickey Mouse!

Horrible food. I ordered a chicken strip dinner with 4 tenders, received 1 normal tender and 3 tenders the size of chicken nuggets, no gravy at all, came out cold. Just plain bad overall read more

This place is falling apart. It's almost worth the drive to go to the Sonic in Royse City or Commerce. In Commerce the food tastes the same every time you go. Food in Greenville is questionable at best. Card readers never work. Not sure why someone can own a business and let it fall apart. read more

Food is good, but the service is the worst. This place is run by a bunch of teenagers who could care less if your order is correct or if you get it in a timely manner. I don't go here anymore because of the terrible service. Go to the Whataburger or Dairy Queen across the street. read more

The burgers were cold and fries very stale. I paid $8 for the combo. I will not return.

No stars would be better. They spilt a super large drink in my lap and all over my car. And then I had to pay for the whole order. Should have just drove off. All over my car and the manager the next day blew me off. I left because I had a lap full of soda and ice and missed my whole club Xmas party due to having to clean myself us and my car. I called three times and spoke with managers and staff and left messages and phone numbers with no response. Told them I would write a review if they did not straighten up my car. Would not even give them one star! Awful, awful, awful. When ordering they will interrupt you. If you have a question they will answer half.
