Sonic Drive-In - All American Sonic Smasher - Burgers Near Me - Goldsboro, North Carolina

Went to get a "cool-down" milkshake - unbelievably slow - brought wrong size and charged a different amount! Should have went to Mickey D's! My first experience at SONIC - tried to order on their app and could not navigate to get what I wanted- so used drive up curbside service. WILL try again but my "bar-for-service" is quite low! read more

Took an hour for 2 dr peppers and tatertots, slow and got no help from workers need new management or something

avoid this place.. it is awful. placed an online order. check in upon arrival. 20 minutes later i ask for my food, was told it would be right out. ask again 20 more minutes later. finally got my cold, greasy garbage food. this is owned by some loser named randy turner, he should not be in any business of any kind read more

I guess people don't know their cup sizes because I asked for a route 44 and I guess I got a large. If they are out of cups, they should let somebody know. I really only come for the slushy and I don't get to get one very often today. I had the opportunity and I'm disappointed. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Large slushy - Burgers Near Me - Goldsboro, North Carolina

Service is slow af. Drive through tries to steal your silver change, doesn't listen, gets your order wrong on a regular basis. When you bring your incorrect order back, they act like you're the one that did something wrong. Typical gen z kids that think they shouldn't have to work. I can go on and on. And I'm not the only one. Fkn pathetic. read more

Got food poisoning from eating the ice cream slush...hopefully they're cleaning out that machine. won't ever be going back to this horrible sonic again. Plus the wait times are super long even for a simple order read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. Waited over 40 minutes for my order. No one came out to tell us why it was taking so long. When food finally brought out CARMEN didn't say a word to us AT ALL. Gave us food and walked off. Food = garbage Service = hot garbage read more

I made the mistake of trying Sonic again after long long waits and wrong orders, but it had seemed to improve until the last 2-3 orders I placed recently. The last mobile order took 25 minutes once I entered my stall number and waited 10 minutes before hitting the red button to ask when I will receive my order. The jumbo chicken was cold and the cherry limeade was not a slush cherry limeade. The time before that I also waited 25-30 minutes for my mobile order only to receive cold food. I really do like sonic but the service could do a lot better and keeping an eye on mobile orders would probably help as well. read more

After a bite for dinner, my girlfriend and I decided to come for a Master Shake for ourselves and her grandparents. Upon arrival, I noticed the stalls were not working so our drive thru wait was long as there were many cars lining up. While the girl at the window's attitude was pleasant, the Master Shakes were honestly subpar. My order was a medium Oreo peanut butter MS and my girl's was a medium peanut butter milkshake. While both were definitely not the worst we've ever had, they both had the exact same problem: lacklustre peanut butter. That's a little area of improvement that has a lot of potential! On the contrary, we did wind up with a free bonus small Snickers shake! That's the case of a good mistake (by which I mean do not go places expecting free handouts like this; business is business). Hopefully soon, the stalls will be up and running so the same employee does not have to be every ten seconds for customers to receive their orders. It is healthy to get your daily steps in, but not in excess. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this fast food company. My children and I were coming home from visiting their grandma in the hospital, and my daughter ordered a giant corn dog and immediately threw up. The workers were very disrespectful and the place is NOT well kept. Why are the bathrooms outside and why is the smell so horrid? This review was honest and based on true events. read more

We go to this location regularly and have never had an issue. All of the staff is always extremely nice. They will literally SPRINT to get things to you. Definitely feel as though their hard work needs to be appreciated and talked about more because they deserve a MUCH higher rating. read more

I never write reviews because I work in the service industry, so I don't want to be a "Karen," but this Sonic is absolutely awful. The last 3-4 times I've been here, whether it's the drive thru, or the drive-in, I have never gotten my food in less than 45 minutes, whether there's 20 cars or 3 cars. It is the longest wait for fast food I've ever experienced. Also, I have never had a fully complete order. There is always something missing! Then, when I bring it up, it's almost an inconvenience to them that I asked for my missing item. I love Sonic, but this particular location is terrible. read more

I love sonic, however this location is terrible!! You never get what you order! It's insane they repeat the order but can't deliver the food correctly *update August 3 2020* super rude employees!! Have been waiting In the drive through line going on 20 min for 2 drinks and a pretzel!!! Is there anyone in there working???? read more

If you want an ice cream blast from here, one day it's good and that'll more than likely be the only time it's ever good. They advertise things with lack of knowledge of how it's made. I've been here to get "Reese's Overload" several times and each time it's been different. 9/10 times, the majority of the cup is full of just plain ice cream with just pieces sitting on the top and not distributed throughout. With hopes of getting the the rightly made shake I continued to order this and having to explain that I want it made right. It's not worth it, they will get over on you. Take the extra mile to go elsewhere. This is totally a "Reese's OverNO" ... I included a picture of when I guess it was supposedly made right with this little ass dollop of peanut butter drizzle. Smh I'm still not satisfied but this was definitely my last coming here giving tries. It has potential only if it were executed right. read more

They mess up my order more often than they get it right, usually takes forever to get my food.

Asked for a cherry lime drink and got water down drink. Employee smelt like weed handing us our drinks and employees running around. Don't recommend. read more

Went last night around 10pm to get some late night munchies. Two meals, two milkshakes, a side, and a drink. We ended up waiting for OVER AN HOUR. Our order on the screen said it was being brought out - but we saw the runner give our order to the wrong car and just ignore us like nothing happened. When we called back to the kitchen, the same runner said "we have no record of your order" and the manager came out. Once we explained our situation - he got incredibly frustrated and knew which order was ours, implying that he's been having issues with this employee before. He got all of our food out in another 15 minutes. Finally got home, incredibly frustrated, just to have incredibly mediocre food. Super greasy, no flavor, and the milkshakes were just pure ice cream without the mixins, and forgot our side item. Never, ever, ever go here. I appreciate the manager helping us out, but he was the only one with his head on straight. read more

When ever me and my kids come here , the waiters that come serve us are all so respectful & polite. The food is always hot and fresh . And it's never a long wait time . Great customer service. read more

Ordered a chocolate Sunday's it was good. The people were nice and with the pandemic going on they were really busy. Will probably go back.

They are EXTREMELY slow. I placed a mobile order and it is now 35 minutes after the time my order was supposed to be ready and I have nothing. I pressed to button to figure out what's going on and I was told "it's being remade". It's beyond ridiculous. read more

coldest fries ever, waited forever. so mad. terrible music. but it's okay because tyler took my order ;)

This is this Sonics first review... And it's not going to be a good one. It took literally 15 mins to get our food. It's called fast food for a reason and they did not make the cut. We ordered the Double Bagger: 2 Burgers w/ everything, 2 tater tots, 2 strawberry slushees. and 2 extra order of corn dogs. this should have not taken 15 mins. tsk, tsk, tsk. Horrible! I was at stall #17 and waited for 30mins. And they didn't use roller skates. #bigsad

I've had problems every time we've been here and it's never been a good experience. Ordered a slush and received flat soda, ordered a sweet tea and received warm water. Placed a $30 order, waited 40 min and was constantly told it's on its way when we never received our food. I wouldn't even give it a star at this point and I'm not sure if I ever will return to sonic. read more

I go to this Sonic many times. I usually order the Sonic cheeseburger. The other items I enjoy the tater tots with cheese, breakfast burritos, and the drinks. I like how they have so many options for drinks. My favorites are the blue coconut slush and the ocean water. It does take around 10 to 15 minutes to get everything but I don't mind because I like the food. The employee's are kind as well. This location also has a playground area with seating in the shade. read more

4 out of 5 times my drink is completely wrong even though im only asking for a slush with nerds in it. The workers are rude without any resemblance of customer service training. Even the female manager was just as ratchet, rude, and incapable of basic listening and comprehension as her subordinates. read more

I ordered a sonic blast last night. It took about 25 minutes just for a blast. I had to press the button again to see what was taking so long. The guy said it would be right out, but it took another 7-8 minutes. It was not like it was a lot of people there. I would have left but I had already paid with my card. Totally unacceptable!!! read more

Super slow. Sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes. Staff is super slow and acts like they dont care.

Employees are allowed to smoke where customers park to order! Be aware that they do NOT care if you have children with you!!! If you smoke, go smoke where non-smokers have to endure the toxins! Especially children!!! The manager basically laughed in my face when I asked for her to ask the employee to smoke away from where children were playing. Rude and disgusting!!!! We left and will NEVER return!! read more

This location used to be decent, but ever since they lost the co-owner it has gone downhill fast. Customer service is a thing of the past as far as they are concerned now. The food quality and wait times are beyond extreme. When you order something simple it should be simple. Why should a simple drink order be screwed up so bad the drink makes people sick. GET IT TOGETHER. Maybe you need to bring back the one that was so great and kept this place running smoothly. read more
