Honestly If this location shutdown, it would be an improvement. Absolute THE Worst service I've ever had, and after tonight I will never come back. About 20 minutes ago, I waited almost 30 minutes for an online order that the app said would be ready by 11:00 PM. I get there and there are signs everywhere saying after 10 PM you have to use the drive-thru for pickup. Fine, whatever. There were only about two cars ahead of us. The second we pulled up to the speaker, the wait started. No "we'll be with you in a minute." No "hang tight." Nothing. Just complete dead silence for FIFTEEN MINUTES. Then a DoorDash driver pulls up behind us flashing his lights and acting like I'm somehow the problem, so I yell back that they haven't even acknowledged us. Eventually I see a car leave the window, so I just drive up there myself. The employee opens the window, I say I have a mobile order under my name, and she just slams the window shut, disappears, and comes back with the order. I look through the window everything is dirty, they are unorganized slobs. And after all that waiting? The ice cream is completely melted. Not shakes. Not ice cream. Literal milk soup. So congratulations: 30 minutes and $36 later, my family gets expensive melted garbage because apparently nobody working there could be bothered to do the bare minimum and actually service customers. The whole point of Sonic is the drive-in experience, but apparently that's too much effort now too. Seriously, fuck this Sonic. I genuinely hope corporate sees how badly this place is run. If I owned this location, everyone working tonight -- May 22, 2026 -- would've been fired on the spot. read more

Went through drive thru at 6/9/26 at around 7:40pm and staff was incredibly kind. The woman who took my order was very patient with my odd order and the young man who worked the window was very friendly. I'll come back to this location just because of this experience. Thanks! read more

We have always had really great experiences with this Sonic! We have been here probably 10x now and have enjoyed it each time. They have never messed up our order and the food is always good quality and warm. We always order ahead of time and they always bring it out in a good amount of time! We will be back! read more

Ordered two cheeseburger kids meals. One plain. One ketchup and pickle. We got the ketchup and pickle and the other? No cheese. Ordered chicken buffalo bites and asked what sauce it comes with. Honestly one of the worst experiences i've had. I ordered a medium strawberry banana milkshake, and a medium m&m blast. not all too complicated right? well i got my order, and upon eating them realized how insanely wrong they were. BOTH had m&m's mixed inside. The so called "M&M blast" had banana chunks, and cookie dough? The "strawberry banana milkshake" was cake batter flavored, with a HINT of strawberry banana and m&ms? The tea has been very watery like it was from yesterday and the ice just melted or just water down does not taste like sweet tea anymore nor does the half-and-half taste well either. My mom used to get this smoothie, and it contained pineapple and strawberry in it. I always had a sip of it and I really liked it. One time I had wanted to get the drink and they informed me that they no longer have pineapple. That was really frustrating but that's not all. After that I just got strawberry shakes. One day I was doing a garage sale with my family and they got sonic for lunch. I got a large strawberry shake and when I picked it up to take a drink the bottom fell out. And went all over the driveway. I think when sonic hires people they should make sure they actually qualify and not blend so far down that the bottom falls out. read more

I ordered a #2 meal with a large onion ring. The onion rings came cold, not fresh . I mentioned it to the employ, so she came out to get the onion rings. A few minutes later, she brought me back, apparently some fresh ones. Why is it now the onion rings where all Burnt ? They for sure didn't look like the ones on the menu? Beware of this one. When you drive up to pay, they will give you back different change, when you question them, they will show you a calculator of a different amount than receipt shows and then shove the window shut. When I contacted company reps, they blew it off. I was concerned that they are pocketing cash from each customer but no one cares. However this time was enough this is the second time this has happened, my husband has gone to the Sonic on 128th & Zuni, he has ordered a shake 1st time he went to oick it up and the lid popped off and fell out of his hands to the ground. I guess he must have not thought twice about it but it happened again tonight. This time I told him to go back since they are putting the lids on correct. The Manager told him that was to bad and didn't even bother to say sorry or offer a refund or make another shake. This sonic is a straight disaster! From food order being wrong 95% of the time to cold food after sitting in the drive thru for 10-15 minutes. Today at 252pm I pull in to a stall to grab a drink as happy hour is between 2pm-4pm I usually use this time to catch up on paper work and respond to emails. Mind you I think it's their busiest time of day ever and I am greeted with "our carhop stations are all closed please pull around to the drive thru. The only reason I'm a giving this location a 1 star is because of what I found in my slushy drink. I went to this location today (May 24th, 2017) because it was on my way home and it was their happy hour- who doesn't love a half priced slush?? I just got to the bottom of my drink, took the lid off to be able to break up the last little bit of ice, and found this small metal looking object at the bottom of the cup... They stop serving ice cream products a half hour or so before they close. We visit sonic on average 3 times per month and spend over 30 each time. Sometimes much more. Whenever we show up around 8:30 they are cleaning the ice cream machine so they can get out of there. read more

I understand first and foremost this is an entry job for most and that it's highschool at best. But you are being paid regardless to do the smallest of services. Take an order and bring it to the car. While i love the rustic feel ( bringing to the car ) it loses its small quaint charm to always having workers and their friends outside yelling and screaming. Advertised price wrong waited for my food forever and noticed that the screen said my order was on its way out and waited another ten minutes when I asked why the advertised price was incorrect I was told the drink raised the price by three dollars I told him to cancel the drink and he said I guess went in with my cash ten minutes later he brings my change and a crumpled up receipt and basically throws it at me. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. Last year on 1/15/21 my boyfriend asked me out at this sonic and kept the receipt from that night. Flash forward a year and for our 1year anniversary we go back to this sonic to get yet another receipt at the same time just a year later(obviously). The waiter comes out and gives us our drinks then proceeds to ask us if we want our receipt which we reply yes please. Sonic doesn't take split payments, explain that to me, please!? Haha. It's okay. I ended up not spending an eternity here, so It's all good in the hood. The line wasn't frantic, however, upon being greeted at the window, the drive thru guy told me I couldn't pay cash and then card. Which is weird for me because I could do that mostly anywhere else. I mean, what was I supposed to do if that was the only method of payment I had? Otherwise, this was a quick stop and transaction. Let alone happiness. My family and I have given this Sonic more chance than they deserve. Every time we go, we say that was the last time. I wonder if there is anyone actually in charge.
